Plate vs Gunner

agreed , plates dont stand a chance against gunners, even decent geared gunner can wipe a ABG geared plate

since ur from KR i expect no less , specially being a glad, wht i said above was an example of me, i have abg gear.
hac is not available in game only credit shops and trade from ppl

 

A gunner can pawn plate classes if the driver know what its doing. And gunners can be squished under plate boots if the driver knows what its doing.

Of course gunners being a pure dps magical class has some advantages against plates, but again, since they are soft and tender is not hard to turn them into pastrami.

Which one is better? Thats measured by the quality of the player I guess.

Sure, but the circumstantial factors are either outside your control, or triggered by you or somewhere else; which makes them also part of what makes a good driver good. Taking advantage of terrain or making the enemy fall for it is whats makes a good survivor or not. The factors that you cant control, or happen outside your plan also can be measured up in the quality of the driver, how fast he can adapt and change the battle conditions to his favor or not. That will depend in the pros and cons of the class and how familiar you are with them and its practical use.

Gunner is the most easy class in Aion right now, same rotation for every target, debuff-stun-debuff-silence(covered silence)-root-spam shit-RELOAD

Almost everyone who has tried Gunner quit it because it's boring after a few days, only a few players which are not able to play other classes are still on Gunner i guess since it's the first time that they can kill shit :'D

But yea, since gunner has only 1 solid rotation that makes them so easy to outplay.. I only play Gladiator and Ranger and i poop on Gunners :'D

And im pretty sure that 99% of the GamezAion players are using 2x10% Godstones beside that Gunner gets really OP with DMG Godstones

 

Yup, however dmg godstones not working in gamez atm lol...activates but no damage.

It is simply pathetic that no gunners on gamez can kill without their godstones....i could kill somone in 4 seconds without even silence lol ...just goes to show whose playing them.

 

Actually the only reason i use para godstones on my sin, they dont proc that much with these MR heroes xD means its almost like not having godstones (just for teh style gold paras)

When it comes to retail I roll through plates like nothing. The only time I lose to a plate is when its a plate from Asian Express; they love their ap and will do anything to protect it..specially their templars insta full health '-.-

 

I've played gunner for a week and quit after for the same exact reason Momo said and yes, damage godstone works. I was dropping gladiators with healers (1 chanter 1 cleric) behind their ass in 3v1 because of godstone procs and there was even one time I killed a ranger with just 1 hit because my 1% 3760 damage godstone activated while having almost 3k MB. The damage dealt by godstone doesn't show in combat log anymore since 4.0 and most people I've asked who plays or played retail says it should be so I suppose that part is bugged here in Gamez.

 

@Zaitou, the 4000 DMG Godstones doesnt exist on Gamez yet? on retail there is a 4000 one ;'D
