updating client to 4.0

..i'm kinda needing some help since it has been 6 months(i think) when 4.0 was released, however, due to being an xp user, i was unable to play up until today..i;m having a bit of problem updating my aion client to 4.0 since, my aion file is in my external drive and the update launcher defaults to My Documents, also, i have tried changing the path to where it can be updated but i was unsuccessful..i also tried searching in torrent sites but nothing is available..i have been dying to play aion since xp users can play now..

..anyone who can assist me with this will be much appreciated..thank you in advance..^_^

 

Close the NCsoft and move your Aion files to the Aion folder that the NCsoft uses, run the NCsoft Launcher and hit File Repair

 

..sorry i forgot to mention that my drive c only has enough space to fit windows and other necessary softwares needed for my pc..most likely no more space and not enough space to copy aion folder.

 

Then uninstall the Aion from your OS and install it in your External HDD

AionInstaller

 

..all it did was repair..it doesn't update..T_T

 

ummm how bout bring your HDD to a Com Shop/ Friend then copy the game?

 

..too bad..i was the one whom my friend's get their copy of aion..T_T

 

Did you configure the path registry after you copy it?

Here's the guide:

Start -> Run -> regedit -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> NCwest -> Aion -> change baseDir to the right location

 

..this sucks so bad..i accidentally uninstall the whole aion folder..T_T ..well back to downloading the friggin game..:sad:

 

u can change easy install place!!!! check on ncwest folder is a bin. patch open it and change the install place where u wish! u should see there cblablabla current install place. delete and add D:blablabla where u have aion and rename game folrder aion too,

 

..did that and still did not work..T_T ..i'll just download a new copy..OMG!!! 30++ gb..T_T
