Elyos vs Asmodian

Been balancing the influence ratio personally from time to time.. but the Elyos bring it on themselves, you know. Can't have it all green AND a PvP buff as well, greed 101

 

Are you sure that this 20 to 30% buff is not in any way exploited by players in Siel as well? Take Blackriver as an example. He is an asmo gunner who can hit my Full Arbiter templar with 4,900 damage for trigger pull and his crosstrigger can hit you between 1,500 to 3,000 damage per shot. Assuming he has full arbiter leather with dual pistols, he shouldn't be allowed to do that. At one point he hit my friend and group mate with full shedim plate, ACD accessories, and shedim shield/sword twice and he DIED. A GUNNER HITTING A "TANKER" TWICE!!!! Now if you do not call that cheating, what is it? I know gunners are a little bit OP in this version but 2 hits????

 

No, normally it's 3-4 with weaves but now they died after a ariel+final strike

we asked for a GvG yesterday, Alexxu and me vs. a whole Legion.. sadly they had a kisk that caused Alexxu to run out of mana but that were a lot of free AP tho :'D

Well well this must be like the 5th thread about that buff....I see a lot of elyos cry about it but what about the elyos ZERG as Grrr said 110 vs 35 and ALWAYS when there are no gms online camping the safe zone (in danaria where obelisk used to be).They dont like getting 2-3 shotted now but they like to 15v1 also no1 ever forced any faction to go and capture all the forts everywhere so if u elys wanna QQ to some1 check the names of the legions that captured them and QQ to them xD.

 

The pvp bonus buff is determined by the amount of artifacts and fortress conquered by a specific faction. The higher influenece ratio, the lower the tax and cheaper items to purchased from the npcs. However the drawback is giving your opposition pvp bonus if ratio is above 70%. It has nothing to do with population of the particular faction.

The Asmodians do deserve some benefit for having the lesser player base, 10% bonus was quite reasonable. Blame the Elyos on bringing onto themselves for giving them extra +20% bonus, mainly the "ArmcaBrancaLeone" and "ll Only Me ll" legions. They kept talking fortresses and artifacts for no solid reason and thus greed of a few fellow players is being paid by the remaining player faction.

It doesn't matter how much complaining there is. Both sides are at fault for responsibility. The Asmodian didn't retaliate and take their fortresses back. And the Elyos simply wanted to assert their dominance, ruining their own enjoyment. Now the Asmodians simply have no reason to take back any land since they'll lose their pvp bonus hence illogical to retake them.

i dont see anything to complain about anyway, this is not a bonus given by AMs, it's just the game.

if any ely feels bad about it he/she could just turn asmo and use that pvp buffs himself, just saying. maybe this "unbalancing" pvp buff will bring balance to the force if you know what i mean.

 

I said after that that it was cuz of influence ratio, I knew how it works - cuz Grrr told me how was it with percentages. Somehow, it has to do with the population too, go tell asmo to conquer a fortress at peak times, you'll get 30-40 players maximum, so they lack of people to take it ;]. asmo have that buff because they cant stand on elyos... ..mwahahahaha

 

Well convicted saints took most of the lower and upper abyss forts before with only a few members, don't really need entire alliance for those. They've also took back one of the gelk fort back previously. It's more of an effort trying than anything.

Just spoke to Cherryxz (CS Brig) and he said they were more than 40 people there, the fact is that they took it because the Elyos didn't realize they were taking it, otherwise it'd be a different story ;]

Thats the spirit i hope all elyos follows you. Elyos got numbers all the time and 4 or 3 asmodian fight them and all they do is run from 3 asmo why they dont give a damn good fight.

 

soon i will create asmo character so i can add 1 more asmo or maybe 8. and also i know what really happen in other side
