What is next?

I wonder where Aion is going with its next developments? Now that the AetherTech class is coming, the game shows more and more advanced technology. I wonder if its possible that in the next updates, Aion's story will go onto the space outside the world of Atreia? since it looks like the whole map is already getting populated with maps and it seems to be running out of space.

 

They have new chain leather and cloth class, i guess next will be the new plate class.

 

Humans have an infinite capacity of space inside their brain that stores infinite ideas. These will in turn evolve into an infinite proposition. As long as AION lives, developers some how make a lot of possibilities to make it live as long as there are players play the game and make it more interesting towards players. Going to outer space as you mention is one possibility or not.


The next version which will have Aether Tech class will also will have another set of open-class armor set.

 

Maybe starfighters or something.

As it stands. The concept of AION revolves around the Tower of Eternity.

That as it stands is shattered hence our abyss. With the way they wrote the lore for the Dredgion, coming and going along some way that is not-known to either Asmodians or Elyos iirc. Though the Aethertech, as it looks is some complete different 'race' so to speak. Also they use Keyblades so inc Square-Enix, NCSoft combo for... Final Fantasy XVI: Aion: The Tower of Dark Ascending Betrayal?! O_O!!

I'm pretty sure that's what NCsoft were thinking too...
