[Forum Event] GamezNetwork's Facebook Cover Photo Contest (December)

This event is for you!


Facebook is pretty much the most popular and most common networking site in the whole inter-webs. How it is able to connect people throughout the world is just amazing! It's very rare to know someone who doesn't have an account there.
And I'm happy to announce that Gamez Network has officially joined the circle!

GamezNetwork's Facebook Page is in need of a really awesome Cover photo. With the help our friend Photoshop? We ask you to make it happen!

This is a 1-week long event which will be hosted monthly with different themes being followed for each month.
This month's theme is Christmas.



There's a set of rules I expect you to follow to consider your entry, valid.


- Everyone is welcome to join!
- Image size should be: 851 pixels wide and 315 pixels tall. Not smaller nor bigger.
- We prefer neat by not adding any text on it but if you feel the need to, we're not stopping you..
(But a tiny "Gamez Network" text somewhere below the image would be nice.)
- Photo concept should be Aion related and must follow our theme: Christmas
- No Plagiarism! Your entry must be your original work.
(Usage of Aion renders are fine, however.)
- Exert some effort to you work.
(Taking a screenshot in-game, cropping it, adding a border OR copying an Aion render from Google, re-sizing it and adding the GamezNetwork text at the bottom is not what we'll consider valid.)
- Maximum of two (2) entries per person.

I don't see how your entry's spot matter so much. As long as you post it before the deadline, then it's good

And new rule:

Since we are giving consolation prizes to our participants, half-assed works will not be considered valid hence wont have any prize at all.

That's what 70-80% would do if you didn't point that out and yes seems like the thing i would also do since i'm not a photoshop guy. Well i hope i can at least submit one just fine that meets your criteria. Good luck to all.

 

And that's why the consolation prize is far from reach for non-Photoshop users or those who actually don't even want to try to learn at all.. We give consolation prize for the great effort put into the work mainly. Not simply because someone can do Printscreen > crop > re-size > post. If it's like that, there are many more events out there that requires screenshot taking. They can join there if that's what their skills can pretty much do

This one is for serious dudes who can actually show something nice. We're talking about our Facebook's cover photo here..
