Motivation for PvP and decent gear for everyone

i have tons of these tickets i even sell them 50k kinah in the brokers and they never sell. i never get to use them either.

 

No one ever joins dregion because no one knows what it is ...ask people in game i bet 90% will be like wtf u talking about. As for arena same shit bugs early on that caused it to never work correctly people stop trying and again forget what it is...if there wasa 24/7 arena open that allowed you to join just like the current arena does with the only rewards being something as simple as 1 mithril per kill inside this arena ..makes it much more difficult to farm them as insanity pointed out as maybe put a 2 -5 min cd between matches (like a mini instance). Just a thought

 

The arena is fine. What we need is a thread on the forum with all the times for it + dredgion. The reason you shouldn't make the arena 24/7 is cause right now there aren't that many people going for it anyway. The entry times "concentrate" the playerbase who would go into a 1hr entry window. If it was open all the time everyone would try to enter whenever they want and end up waiting till someone else eventually decides to check as well. Which might take hours

 

to reduce zergers? disconnect almost of them or just always down both servers much better!

I am 100% sure that if you put Rewards like remodels, wings, Jewelery, Medals into Arena/Dredgion people will start to do it. You just need to give people a reason why to do it.

 

Perhaps have it announce automatically "Arenas are now open" would definitely help...also for dredgion. As for what was said about rewards...and which remodels would you have them add? You know it cant be anything too terribly rare...unless they came at an extreme price.

 

That is a good "motivation" but is unfair for low damage, high def class toons. It will encourage more players to go high damage class like sorc, bard, and gunner.

 

Well damage really isn't everything besides all classes are good at damage if you learn to play them and get the right build along with gears.

Better if you lose only 1-0 AP only when you died by opposite race.

 

That will mean high ranks will always be high ranks ppl wont be happy about that even if gear requirements are removed if I understood what you said correctly

 

People might even abuse it because you said "kills" , that means someone can go in reshanta or a low lvl oposing city and just wait for low lvl caracters that are doing quests. Free kills easy kills easy rewards

 

the AM already said that its personal preference. your suggestion is good but if most players still prefer to zerg. we cant do anything about it.

in my opinion, Zerging is an epidemic that people are willing to accept. because it makes their Survivabilty in PVP skyrocket

i hate zerging but i am force to do so because most people who are PVPing are zerging. and i will only do this until i complete my gears

 

Thats a nice suggestion but on my opinion, zerging is already part of the game that you need to accept wether its bearable or not to you, I no longer PvP much on SielI'd rathar do Sauro boss raid than zerg on Danaria and Katalam, because even when I try to PvP on Heiron, just killing a single player will automatically shout on the LFG about my location, then a bunch of Elyos trying to kill me, that is what you need to accept, zerg is part of the game, even Retail NA zerging is everywhere, and Im too bored to play retail.
