Reshanta Godstone quest bugged?

So i just finished the "kill 10 rank9 ely" quest.
Started doing rank 8, and got 6/10 so far, but it wont move up.
I killed like 15 ely and still 6/10, and yes they were rank8+

What's up about that?

 

Does the chat log for the kill say Enemy_Char killed by Your_Char? The quest won't update unless it clearly specifies it is your kill.

Also were you in an alliance during these kills? It is known alliances sometimes doesn't register quest kills correctly. Groups should work fine.

If it is still doesn't progress, you can alternative abandon the quest and restart it.

 

Dont remember about Enemy_Char killed by Your_Char. But yes i was in a alliance. So that's why it would not update... Thank you

 

to say it clearer, if i can, in alliance it works BUT only for your group in the ally.
if you are in group 1 of the ally and the kill is made by anyone of the group 1 you got the quest updated. if the kill is by someone in group 2/3/4 you get nothing.

 

For me it is usually working for my friend too but the only problem is that he finished the quest rank 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 and was caught when the kill officers did not appear ... Even now he could not finish, But for me I've done this with several chars and giving it right.

 

to acquire the officers quest you have to be at least rank 1 (as you need to be at least a 1star officer for the general purge quest). plus i dont know about asmo side but on ely side the npc giving u the quest its not the same as rank 9-1

 

I already done this quests with all my chars, but my friend cant get the quest... I know what NPC i need talk...

 

is your friend rank 1 or higher?

 

The rank does not influence the quest because I was rank 4 when I did the quest with my templar, and all went well ... And yes, he is rank 1.

 

Yeah, that was funny enough to read his comment that you need to be rank1 or higher just to acquire the quest which is so LOL, maybe I also need to be rank1 just to finish the Ascension quest

 

well the repeatable ones do have rank restrictions. so, i thought maybe those have too. and btw no one asked u to come here and tease ppl since i was just trying to help.

EDIT: i checked on google, and its full of ppl who couldnt get the quest, then they turned RANK 1 and magically the quest appears on the npc (on ely side is Michalis, governor of reshanta). that was funny enough reading your comment. guess there is a rank restriction, the fact you dont know actually everything about aion doesnt mean stuff cant exist. nuff said.

 

on quests, since ever. it's not that you uncheck the rank restriction box during your scripts and it's all gone from gear to quests uh correct me if im wrong

I have a 1 star char which i tried to visit the quest but it doesn't showed up.....

 

Maybe it hasnt CD'ed yet if youre referring to the [Weekly] Godstone Quest,
