New to server and could use a bit of direction

Hey everyone, I've had an MMO itch and am kind of waiting for WSO so until that comes out I thought I would join an Aion server for some PvP action. I never played Aion past level 20 or so but I've had a lot of experience with other MMOs. For a lack of understanding it is kind of hard to get started on such a high rate server, and when I looked up the leveling guide it says to get a mentor but you cannot use the chat channels until level 30.

If someone would be willing to catch me up a bit in game I would really appreciate it.

I also have a char in Lumiel, its an Asmo Sorc w/ incomplete stigma tree build huehue cant find my stigmas stones

 

convent of marchutan is the way, there are npcs who sell stigmas/greater stigmas for kinah.

 

The easiest way for you to level up is finding a mentor.
Otherwise you can level up yourself by doing a few quests. Since you are already level 30, i would suggest you to start with the Abyss entry quests and do the first Reshanta campaign quests, then kill a few mobs in the upper abyss until you hit level 40. After that, go to Theobomos and start killing normal mobs around the Theobomos Lab entrance, they should help you to reach level 45 pretty fast. Once you are level 45 you will get a quest which will intorduce you to Theobomos high level campaign quests, complete them until you reach level 50.
After doing that, start the Inggison entry quests (given by the governor of sanctum) and go ahead until you reach inggison's illusion fortress. Keep doing Inggison campaign quests and kill some mobs around until you hit 55, after that you will get the Sarpan Introduction quests. Complete every Sarpan campagin quest and you will be able to reach level 60 pretty fast. Alternatively, if you dislike Sarpan, try to complete Tiamaranta's Campaign quests, they are a bit longer to do but will reward you with plenty of EXP.
Once you hit level 60, Katalam campaign quests will unlock, which are pretty easy to complete and fun as well, you will hit level 65 right after the 2nd quest, though i'd suggest you to complete them all and start with Danaria campagin quests as well, the rewards are not bad and the questline is not bad as well.

 

Last time I checked was it need abyss, and Im also poor when it come to Kinah

 

Go to the Convent of Machutan (Asmodians) or Kaisinel's Cloister. There is a row of custom NPCs which sell stigma stones and skill books, they can be easily recognized by the name and by the korean dialog window. you need less than 10k kinah to purchase all the stones for a complete build

 

Thanks for all the responses, I managed to get to 41 last night just by grinding in successive zones and have done a few quests. I'll definitely be using the info Deathangel, as I was starting to find it a bit hard to find mobs that were worth grinding.

lol is easy to lvl from 0 to 65 in 1hour (lets say 2or3 if u are new here...) all you need to do is open quests...go to champaign tab, chose the one on list that gives most EXP...then google it rly fast or watch on youtube so u see if is hard or easy and if easy do it is far far faster as killing all that mobs....quest give u like 5 lvl up boost and if u killing mobs at lvl 40+ it goes kinda slow....
