Considering of playing Cleric (again)

Hello guys,

ive been thinking of starting to play with my cleric again, ive been pvping with it for a few days now with an incomplete gear and some manastone build that im not even sure if it's good nowadays. I've not been playing with cleric for the past 2 years, back in the day i had like 4 abg sets with different builds and even abg tunic set for extra mana. But now things have changed and i dont even know some of the skills of classes such as rangers/bards/glads/gunners, classes that i havent tried ever since we hit 4.0.

What i would like to know is your manastone builds and items, which difficulties you face as a cleric and stuff (if possible only from arbiter users). Just need some opinions. I dont think i ll be quitting templar but i think i might start playing cleric as a secondary toon for now.

Good luck with cleric i don't really know much about cleric except for healing well in an instance but i would go for full mr

 

Clerics are an awesome class. Just becareful who you group with. Lots of people rage at you if you cannot heal right ...

I mean comon... I got yelled at for not being able to heal someone in group 3 of my alliance while I was in group 2.... lol

 

Im only gonna play with my wife or with my legion mates.. or alone.. I do not do any activities with strangers, at all. Btw im not a group healer.. I can do duo pvp or trio pvp and heal, but i aint healing a full group.. never have and never will lol. I usually dont need more than 2 people to destroy a whole alliance anyway.

 

I think cleric is still good. I don't think much has changed from the past up until now. Magic resist still seems to be the best defensive build. Of course u can go dps cleric too. Knowing u... Your like probably one of the richest player i know lol. So getting multiple sets would be a peace of cake for Ya lol.

Ever since 4.0 hit clerics has gotten stronger. I use to duel with glorify before 4.0. But when 4.0 hit gamez she was much more tanky than she was before due to the new skills and gears... I remember I couldn't even kill her till the duel time ended rofl... That's when I realized I needed a dps set instead of playing full mr all the time... you played cleric before you should be able to get the hang of it no problem.

Anyway that's my opinion. I'm not a cleric expert and it was never my play style. But yeah.. You should play cleric again and make another cleric pvp video hehe

I might get maximum 2 sets, considering that the price of arbiter now is kind of ridiculous. I am obviously gonna do a full MR set, i was wondering what to stack on my weapons or on a second set.. what idians do people usually use on clerics now and stuff like that..

 

MR Idians are good with MR Chain XD

 

I kinda wish we could still use cloth sets just like back in the day, abg cloth was nice for MR ^^

Yea. Cloth does have the best MR. But you sacrifice alot of Defense and HP.

 

Aw man those days were the best! Where u could wear almost anything. I use to love chain armor looks and we were able to use it even on a melee class.

Yeah man. Full mr is always number one. Those 10 percent God stone are hella annoying. No point in even trying to do anything when ur being silenced literally every 5 hits with out mr especially as a caster... Sht so annoying makes me wanna throw my pc out the window...and I wish I could just teleport to they're computer screen give them a spit and a slap in the face.

Block is nice too. But I still think u would still use mr set more often than block set. How ever it's still nice to have a block set just in case xD

 

Well I recently got arbiter set for my cleric and I noticed a new things.

Full MR is great doesn't resist everything tho especially in zergs :3

Good geared MA gunners can still hit you 95% of the time a long with other classes magic MA classes - that's with my MR at 2800 xd

I also recommend getting block on some parts or get 2 sets. I do get killed really fast from physical classes with accuracy builds (I mean within 5 seconds) mainly from rangers and that's with 3150 block so it's nice to add some block to your parts because getting the block stats naturally from the arbiter set isn't enough to block most income damage especially tho good geared players and players with accuracy buids & accuracy buffs.

I just switch between the MR/Block parts depending on the situation and who I'm up against.

Yea you can get those, im crafting those but the rate is kinda bad..

 

one of my worst opponent is Cleric especially Kirca and Apocalypse with their FULL MR and PVE access. if I don't kill them in 20s with my SoF(gives 1k MA) I am dead. I am a sorc with full MA/MB + Magic Assist(gives 300 MA) is not enough against their MR. so yeah MR is the best for cleric.

 

Do it cleric right now has almost more potential than sm right now and thats saying alot. All you needis 1 arbiter set full mr and 3 mace and shield sets. 1 block 1 mr and one ma mr. Must have mcc glasses if you play siel and put mr idian in both your block and mr maces. My stats. In mr 2860 mr 3131 block. In block 2650 mr 3500 block. And not sure on ma on ma maces but its 2740 mr. U wont die against anything in 1v1 and make sure u have pve access.
