I love them too... but sadly there aren't many gory, bloody animes wich are actually good. I watched Another and Corpse Party (or wathever it was it's name) but they weren't so intersting tbh. Hellsing Ultime from other hand was just epic

 

I actually liked Another a lot too. Haven't watched Corpse Party and I've been told multiple times to watch Hellsing Ultimate.

Right now, I'm watching Hyouka. It's not that kind of anime but I like it so far

They focus a lot on setting detail and the storylines contain a lot of that sentimental and gentle element
