Quite the opposite actually, 3 digit pings is substantial slower when playing Ranger/Sin/Gunner than those with 2digit pings. I know quite a lot of good glads on Lumiel that plays on 3 digit pings.

Bard.. go for bard.. if ur ping is 250.. playing bard wont be a problem at all.. u can enjoy the heal (cleric).. the debuff (sm).. and decent dmg (ranger) - all in one in bard.. i really enjoyed the crits im hitting others with my bard

 

Between these two and taking your average ping (250) into account, definitely Songweaver. You'll be able to jumpshot, slideshot, slidecast etc. with the tricks high ping allows you to pull off. Casters are the best choice for 3-digit ping because you can still play them on par with the others. Past 180ms Assassin, Ranger, Gunner and Gladiator will not feel as smooth, which is why I do not recommend any of these. Then again it doesn't incapacitate you from playing them, it's just another game when you're lagging on Assassin =P

 

Both 100 and 999 are 3 digit pings, but there's a huge difference between them so try to be more specific.



He can still do fine with all the classes with 250 ping, that's a very decent ping but anything higher than 300 is gonna feel unplayable i think. Imo, ranger requires at least 150 ping for super smooth gameplay cause ive played it with 150 and with 200 and the difference was pretty damn big.. while on cleric i didnt really notice any difference with 150 or 200...

250 ping seems like a good "motive" to try a caster imo.

It can take me up to 5-10 minutes to beat a good cleric with my bard which is awfully long... It's hard to silence a cleric with bard seen as our silence isn't instant it's a chain skill so we can't do 2 dots then silence cuz of the clenses. =\

I remember vsing Kirca? I believe and It took me around 15 minutes to beat them... I'm glad they aren't to many pro clerics out there otherwise it would be frustrating going against clerics most are easy tho.

 

Hm, you can use the paralyze combo and I tested it out many times, working perfectly. Especially if you have 150- ping. Dance off- Paralyze- Freestyle- Moonlight lament- Sympathetic echo- Pean of pain- Sonic guest (This stun is important since the cleric will need some time to remove the shock) and the paralyze will work, you can cover the silence then and nuke the cleric.

I wonder if this combo would work on templars as well? as it in keeping them under control until there buffs die off. Mainly at those Templar's that use every buff (UD, Iron Skin, Aether Armor etc) which are scary cuz you hardly do damage when the buffs are active and they also hit pretty hard using there physical att buffs

 

Well I just kite off their AA, cause it's just retarded, then you can try that combo. Also, you need to cut the animation of paralyze otherwise they will have time to dispell it.

 

Havent had any bard kill my cleric so far, 1.8k+ ms and another 300 with the buff its near 2.2k ms and 2850 MR that's a hard number to even pass through some bard nukes. Basically bards have a hard time against clerics (from my experience) because bards kill with debuffs and skills that take mana. Cleric's insta dispell is the biggest enemy of the bard, all you gotta do is keep spamming cleanse and wait for a lucky silence proc, pop FW and more debuffs and if you get lucky with timing you can kill equally geared bard. All the bards i have fought just ran away from me at some point cause they were about to die, unless they are full MR in that case i just ignore them =D

Btw im not saying bards are bad or anything, i just think that they are not equipped (skill-wise) well enough to take on a cleric, but i think they can take out chanters easily (no cleanse lol).

Well templar that buffs everything and comes at you = noob and not much of a threat because after 30 seconds hes dead meat.

Chanter is actually one of the easiest classes for bard to defeat (for myself anyway) I believe a ranger has a better chance of killing a bard then a chanter - Rangers get my HP lower then what chanters can.

Chanters lack damage especially if they are fully MR after all they rely on stuns and stumbles for there chain skills which plays a big role in there damage.

Bards have a buff that increases stun and stumble resist by 300 which makes it extremely difficult for chanters to stun and stumble and also silence aka = no stun/stumble chain skills = not enough damage.

MA chanters have a better chance of taking a bard out then a full MR chanter in my opinion yes MR chanters may survive abit longer but doesn't mean they will win - atleast with an ma build they will have better chance of stunning and stumbling locking and better DPS. ;3
