PIN for char

Could a 8 digit PIN system be put in like official aion? That is all.

 

would lower the chances of getting items hacked but it's not really needed if you be smart and don't download that claims free credits or what ever anything or share your password...

 

well if it's gonna be implemented in the first week you will see 90% of the players with a locked account coz they wont be able to insert everytime the same pin i guess lol

just need to not give your info to anyone and avoid downloading unsafe files from unknown ppl lol it's not hard

The pin isnt even needed at all, if you dont go on dangerous websites and not give your account details to anyone you wont get hacked. Also lots of players cant even remember their username/password soooo.....

 

I'll guess some players want this suggestion added just so they can go on the sites that 'claim free credits' so they can re insure there accounts are secured with the pins if the site is fake/scam xd

You mean remote access tool hacks? well yeah even with a pin on your account if you got a remote access tool virus on your computer then they can easily find out the pin by looking at your computer screen on there's :3

I once had one on my computer they are nasty and can fool some anti viruses xd and it was old best friend who sent me the virus

There are players who cannot remember any one of the following:
Game_Password/Game_Username/Registration_Email/Character_Name/Forum_Account/Forum_Password
Having additional Pin Code won't do them any good if they go to phishing websites for scams/hacks to begin with.

I've never ever gotten hacked in all my years of gaming and I've played numerous online games. Simply think before you act and you'll be fine. (aka Don't share account info)

 

It would help to get rid of those zerging idiots so i guess it would be positve to add that PIN system

 

I don't go to any sites or try to get free credits. It's more of a safety blanket. Call it insurance. I want my char, who's got a lot of real money items on it, insured. Since gamez is not responsible, for stolen, lost, ect, items. they shouldn't be responsible for ppl who can't remember there PIN. Of course that's just one way to look at it. Ppl do forget things and the staff should be there for them if they need a new PIN. Or set it up so it's like a password recovery that's sent to your e-mail where no staff is involved. Anyway you slice it, it's a nice service that I'd like to have. It feels like we're being denied something good, because of others.

How come people stare at your monitor to see your password, I'm just lost here.

 

And an addition to that question, do you think that if somebody see your password he wouldn't be able to see your pin as well while typing it?
