    It’s Lunar New Year 2014, also known as the Spring Festival, a tradition is celebrated by most of China and its surrounding countries. The dates differ from year to year because it is based on the Lunar Calendar and this year marks the Year of the Horse on the Chinese Zodiac. The holiday is comparable to the Western celebration of Christmas, where family and togetherness is a key factor. Many people would travel back to their hometown to dine with their family.

    To celebrate this holiday and bring us closer, and keeping in the traditional practices, this event will be centered on the themes of 'Good Fortune' (Happiness), 'Good Wealth' and 'Good Health'.

    ​

    • Submit One (1) to Three (3) images that represent the themes of the Lunar New Year.
    • Least One (1) of these images should feature a Horse (or referenced in text).
    • These images must be AION related or referenced in some manner.
    • The entry can be drawn, screenshots and/or computer edited. Let your creativity run wild.
    • No plagiarism from other artists and submissions.
    • Limited One (1) entry per account. You're free to edit submission until deadline.
    • Failure to follow the rules may result in an invalid entry and no prizes awarded.

    The event will be held in line with the dates of the actual 15 days celebration.
    From the night of the 30th January until midnight 13th February.

    1st Place: 1x Legion Mount + 1x Ultimate Prize
    2nd Place: 1x Advanced + 2x Normal Prizes
    3rd Place: 3x Normal Prizes

    Participants: Red Envelops will be handed out to all other participants containing 100million Kinah and 1 Normal Prize.

    *If you're unsatisfied with the selection from the top tier prizes. It can be swapped to some of the lower tier items, i.e. Ultimate Prize -> 2x Advanced Prizes, or Advanced Prize -> 3x Normal Prizes.*

    "celebrated by most of China and its surrounding countries." If it offends you, I'll change it. Certainly not as big custom to many other Westerner/Easterner compared to the Chinese.

    PS If you look up Lunar New Year. The top searches would still be "Chinese New Year"
