Best way to hunt items?

Actually been playing Aion now for 5 months with un-finalized character until I landed on creating Steffanie (BTW, thanks to [archvanarl] for helping me get started. I just wonder if what should I hunt or do first in order to obtain a set, not that strong at least useful enough in PVPs because I'm getting tired of shopping remodels in-game I wanted to be stronger (Oh I'm a bard). Because of my obsession in remodeled items I'm risking my relationships in-game who had high hopes on me when they first gave me things. I don't want to disappoint them anymore. So guys, any help and guide on the first step in becoming stronger in Aion? Post your comments below

Ahh maybe you can do pve everyday, You should try Sauro suppy base. Here's a guide http://forum.gameznetwork.com/f64/[guide]-sauro-supply-base-159428/ Sauro stuffs aren't as bad as a starter items i guess. And about that "not that strong, at least usefull pvp items" you can buy GCD/ACD from npc's in sarpan or Marchutan priory(asmo) or Cloister of Kaisinel(elyos). First you need to farm mithril medals, do quest in tiamaranta. If you're from lumiel, am's gives mithril medals as an event rewards . You can go craft, alchemy or cooking etc, sell those crafted stuffs for good values, kinah's or mithril medals. If you're an asmodian, you can abuse the Survey lewl, make a bunch of asmodian toons so u can get 15mithril medals(i guess) each toon.

Sorcerer, Spiritmaster and Songweaver all have outstanding skill sets, which allows them to run around with a relatively weak set - the best defense is a good offense. Get yourself an Arbiter Harp, Sauro Commander / Shepherd accessories and literally any 60+ set, as long as you socket it with good manastones.

If you got friends/legion to help you out, run instances. If you're mostly alone, do quests. Ancient Coins in Idian Depths might take awhile but when you accumulate enough you can get decent eternal set/weapons. Kahrun Symbols, Silverine/Merrymake Tokens (for really good PvE accessories, can be really useful for you), Crucible and Courage Insignia and more.

Not to mention how newly created Asmodian characters get more incentives like Mithril/Platinum Medals, Kahrun Symbols (Adella's Gift), tokens, extra APP set, Marchutan weapon, etc. which is also something to consider.

 

well, the easiest way to have items (LVL65) is INSTANCED ZONES... "SAURO SUPPLY BASE" offers it for you.... However, you will obtain PVE items for this dungeons.... if u want some minimal PVP items, the EMPYREAN CRUCIBLE (ARENA) is ready for you too... if u want some medium-ranged PVP items, hunt or trade for PLATINUM MEDALS and MITHRIL MEDALS for an ABG/GBG SETs/WEP's/ACC's (PLATINUM), EAC/EGC, ACD/GCD SET's/WEP's/ACC's and etc.....

yeah! that's it.... but for us players whose state is in economic depletion, we do donate but in a minimal way.....

 

As a clothie you can start it without using pvp sets coz anyway youd be paper lol sauro/sauren sets full macc/mboost could be a nice start. I highly recommend focusin first on pvp accessories and weapon and learn how to roll bard with no pvp defense while getting pvp gears lol

i played sm here a lot with tiamat set a lot and if you get along with clothies youll see that basically you die on a geared gladi combo even if ure wearing pvp set lol

 

Most of the useful information has been post already.. well the fastest way since your playing for 5 months already is to get vip and try to trade those items that you've farm and meet some friends or enter to a legion and join you on instances.

I think I have some spare parts on Sauro, and daheck happened to my Sauro cloth its different from others even if its origs it looks like that Ballet Remo that is sold for 10.5k vip. Its really different LOL.

 

there is a bard version and a sorcerer version. both have same stats but different skins
