If I wanted to play normal Stigma, I can login on my retail account.

And for the money you would have to spend here to gear up decently you can also buy decent geared account on officials.

I would have to spend like 10 times more for leveling etc and yet I would have like about 100x more people around me than on Lumiel....
Not to mention there are normal stigma pservers out there with higher population, active admins, working instances and battlegrounds, where you get end-game starter gears, etc...

Dun get me wrong, I love playing here next to retail, but Lumiel with its low population bores me whenever I log on xD

Beside the fact that Siel doesn't have stigma system and Lumiel does, let me point out a few more things.

    Siel
    - Unbalance between classes is A LOT worse. I'm not saying retail or Lumiel has balanced classes. Aion as a whole has terrible class balancing 1v1 wise but Siel has a lot worse class balance.
    - PvE in Siel is a lot easier which later on becomes boring. Aion PvE isn't hard at all to begin with but having all the skills in your arsenal makes it even easier than it already is.
    - There are more hackers in Siel. This might come as an obvious thing since Siel has higher population but if you look at the ratio of hackers to non-hackers, you'll see that hackers in Lumiel is almost non-existent.
    - Playing in this server will require you to re-learn things over once you play on another server
    - Trades are better since there are more players.

    Lumiel
    - Closer to how Aion is suppose to be played (PvE & PvP. Difference between classes are more bearable.
    - Basically the opposite of the things I mentioned about Siel above.

The thing about picking your stigma skills actually adds more fun. I've been playing around with a lot of stigma builds specially for gladiator and templar. But if you'd rather believe people who's playing without stigma system when they say stigma system doesn't matter then feel free to do so.

Another thing, there are 10% silence and blind godstones here which doesn't exist on official servers. These godstones seriously messes up the PvP A LOT. More skills to use means more chance to proc (activate godstone effect) which also means a higher chance of having your PvP messed up by godstone procs.

Oh, and if it helps as a deciding factor. I played both servers. Have your choice. Listen to people who only played 1 server and are bashing the other 1 they didn't play on or listen to people who played both servers.

Take a look ladies and gentlemen, this is what a NON-retarded person looks like. Too bad there aren't many of those left, huh?
Might aswell add something - trading in Siel is horrible, ingame items are a lot less valuable than credits (despite all the multivoters), you can't get credits without trading your mother, house and soul for it. If you are the one with the credits it's easier, but if you're new then tough luck..

....oh and Lumiel has the good HeadGM.

The only point where there is no balance is basically:

SM > Is stupid strong, has a 99% winning chance against anyone in SIel :/
Any other class combination is fairly balanced, anyone has a chance to beat anyone in equal gears and skills.

Pve is generally easy, and pro pver's dont use anything else other than dual wielding toons, so i don't really see how having more skills is relevant. Even healers wouldnt really benefit from more skills since vitality's gift is insanely powerful now.

    More hackers, could be. Idk.

You don't have to re-learn anything imo. I came from a stigma server and adapted in less than a day way back.

As of Lumiel, it is closer to aion when it comes to stigmas. But then again if anyone wants to play something "closer to retail" he might as well just go play retail. And that's the reason most players choose siel, because if they wanted retail they'd be playing retail and not lumiel. Imo.

Trading in Siel is better than Lumiel. There are a lot of people that are willing to move to Siel just to do a trade with me and when i ask them why they simply reply "Lumiel has no trading". I tried to spam some LFG in Lumiel for some items that i used to have in that server and i didn't get a single reply in weeks.

As for the prices. Credits are more valuable than items when dealing with inexperienced and greedy players. But if you are patient enough and have basic Aion knowledge and can take advantage of new features and be the first one to sell specific items that others have not yet discovered or are too lazy to craft/farm (instance gears, new content such as gear or godstone or idian crafting and so on) you can get end game gear without donating. So no, you don't really have to trade your mother and house etc. You just need to play smart.

whether or not you want to admit it stimga builds adds very little customization to the game...people with certain builds 99% of the time are going to all go with a certain stigma build as well..just like manastones add very little customization to the game ...for most classes there are 3 main builds you can go and the rest just wont work same with stigma builds...all of them are going to be the same..besides maybe the last 3 skills...In fact im guessing manastones add more customization that stigmas...i mean how many assassins do you see go with signet silence....how many sms do you see go hand of torpor or Hypnosis? How many Templars go Aether armor?...Again thats nothing but NCFail's fault but...still it really shouldnt be a deciding factor whether or not you go siel or lumiel.
The differences in lumiel and siel really are not that numerous...On siel you have a larger chance of your pvp being destroyed by random skill spamming noob groups which in turn more godstones to also fux you over...and on and on...On Siel you also have certain classes that become very unbalanced (not that they were to begin with) Spiritmaster for starters is the most overpowered pos on siel you can litterally have 100% win each time because of spirit hypnosis and the ability to tank 100K + damage...Templar is also one you get all your heals and defensive buffs as well as all your attacks very monster on siel...and for 3rd I'd have to say Cleric gets the 3rd biggest boost...all your heal enhances...toggles, heals, and dps skills on one class ...in the hands of a pro literally unkillable.
Now in Lumiel these unbalances are downplayed...sm not being able to tank as much dmg..or getting their stupid OP sleep lock...not that it makes them that much weaker to be honest but it does help believe me. Templar well they have the illusion of being super op on lumiel where as in siel they really are...
So to just close let me say this IMO Lumiel is better than Siel but becomes incredibly boring because of the fact pvp is so limited to certain maps and the same people every day...Siel has the population and thats the main reason why so many people play it...and well meny noobs and hackers cus we dont have very active or knowledgeable (in pvp ) AMs or like guille has a shitty computer and cant record anyone so most of them rely greatly on players recording things ...and well relying on siel community to realize what a hacker is ....thats just a joke lol. and a nonexistent headgm ,,,well besides when ari logs in.
Ok so i litterally ranted the entire time and dont expect any of you to read it anyways but theres my input lol

SM is "stupid strong" in both, you don't even need half the skills you get in Siel to do a 2v1, let alone a 1v1. Torpor might be nice once in a while, but you don't NEED it to win vs everything.

Biggest bullshit lie i've ever seen.
    1) Nothing beats a decent sm, the only difference between APP and gov is the time it would take you to kill someone due to the lower mb. All the important sm skills are broken and completely ignore MR anyway.
    2) No ranger/gladiator/sin ever is going to kill a templar in Siel (equal gear and skills applying for everything i say)
    3) No gladiator/templar/ranger ever is going to kill a cleric in Siel
    4) NOTHING is gonna kill a sorc/chanter in Siel
    5) No gladiator is ever going to kill a gunner without a shitload of rng (regardless of server)
...and a lot more that i can't be bothered with right now.

Just look at the report section.

You're the guy known for having nearly every worthwhile item in the game, the only reason somebody would transfer to trade with you is for one of those GM costumes OR credits, thanks for proving my point.

I guess you havent met any good players in siel, but oh wait you dont actually play in siel  so how would you know. Having played in that server for quite some time, i can tell you that you are wrong. Clerics and chanters can die, and a glad can definitely kill a templar (same gear and skill of course). As for the SM, i already said that they are OP and near unkillable in siel so wut.

Well i dont have credits neither do i have GM costumes, lol.

But oh wait i actually know how this game works, magic huh ?

Ofc they can and will die, server's full of bads. "equal skill" my ass...

That's why people would go in siel to GIVE YOU those for cheap gear and remodels.
Jesus you're dumb as fuck, how have you not forgotten how to breathe by now?
Damn i give up, a pile of bricks is smarter than this.

The fact that they Pm me with offers doesnst mean that i accept them, i've never bought a gm costume or any other costume as a matter of fact from a Lumiel player.

Lumiel has no market because it's population is low, and that's why people prefer moving to siel to find trades. It is actually so hard to find a single trade in Lumiel that i have had several people asking me to trade my x arbiter set for their arbiter set + weapon (and even after i had declined the offer because they were also going to have to spend 3k credits for the server transfer, they kept insisting), guess they really got frustrated by not being able to find a deal even after they added a whole arbiter weapon in the package, in Lumiel :/

And while siel has a lot of people and it is easy to find deals, some of those traders are definitely greedy. As an experienced trader i would suggest players not to deal with those greedy guys who keep asking for adds, in time and with a little effort they can find fair deals without adds. And for those who are new, siel is the perfect starter place because it is easy to craft and donors pay a lot of credits for unique crafted or farmed remodels.

Last i checked you were a Lumiel fanboy, so stop pretending to know how things work in siel. Because if you did actually know, you wouldnt be posting that a glad can't kill a templar in equal skill and gears (that's just for laughts lawl).

Btw, everytime you get owned you start insulting people. If you wanna be a troll, at least learn how to be a proper one

While i do sincerely feel sorry for your temper, your fail arguments and tons of bad assumptions are honestly not my fault.

Take a chill pill or visit the toilet, might help.

I change stigmas weekly if not monthly and have different builds for particular situations. Just because I run a support chanter/cleric doesn't mean I need Elemental Screen/Benevolent 24/7, they can be occasionally swapped to more solo PvE orientated setups when necessary.

    • "Do you see assassins go with Signet Silence?" I see probably 1 out of every 5 assassins still use the Signet Silence stigma build. And from that build alone, there are variants to their manastone builds. Some go physical stats focused, using the signet silence as a silence debuff, while others go burst with MB.
    • "How many Templars go Aether armor?" 8/10 Templars would want to use AA, ideally AA is more suited for solo gameplays. 1/10 If in group situation, slotting bodyguard would prove to be more useful, especially if a cleric is around to spam Cleanse/Heal on you. Other 1/10, if you're undergeared and no MR slotted, AA won't do you much good either way.
    • "how many sms do you see go hand of torpor or Hypnosis?" Ideally no SM would ever use Hypnosis because they'll sacrifice too many efficient stigma, SM is not suppose to be granted such luxury. Only time I'd see Hand of Torpor slotted is going for the Infernal Blight, which has its uses for PvE more than PvP.
Whether rhetorical or not, least put in some thought before asking it. If you want to talk about static manastone builds, Magic classes in AION have the most static builds, all going the route of MA/MB/MR. Their design is just so straightforward for most environment, they're the only classes that can pull it off. Even Gladiators, a relatively easy to use class have more variants up their sleeves.

    @Others
Coming from a previous server that died (Crystal), I can say that the real reason to a server's downfall are people that spread rumours about a particular server they've never truly experience. "If I want to play a stigma system server, I'd rather play retail" is all bull-nyerk using Retail as a cover to hide under. When I was on Crystal, one mention of the server from a new player asking which server to choose, I would see players mentioning "play Gamez", "Crystal too low rate" and all other excuses. When I transferred over to Lumiel as part of the merge, players would ask me how I obtained so many remodels and various items, they did not know things they've missed out.

The same could be said to this very situation. We have Siel players blindly judgmental that Lumiel is just a lower population of retail, without fully taking in the environment. Everyone is different, we have 2 choices of Siel (all stigma) and Lumiel (stigma system) for this very reason we let people decide what they want. I've had people that tried Siel and disliked it, while others didn't mind and prefer that gameplay. If you keep chasing people away from us, obviously there will be no population. Next time someone asks which server to pick, you go tell them the differences between servers and not feed out nonsense which is better.

I didnt say that people didnt have different stigma builds im saying that most of the time differentiating from the norm doesn't work ...people always end back up at their "home builds" i guess you could say.
..and really signet silence sins are just failures...its not my fault if they haven't figured that out yet.
hand of torpor is only useful in duels and if your getting infernal blight for that 20% extra dmg in pve...which who makes an sm to pve with in lumiel ....?
Aether armor temps still exist...well that one is surprising at least...i thought they all died out lol.

Cleric and chanter are a completely different story and yes agreed switching between support and non happens quite often cus well tbh I dont think there is anything more boring than a support chanter...Although I hate playing support cleric on stigma dont think you really need to ...I prefer to blowing them up.

And i did say most classes have 3 builds that will work for them lol ....magic classes will be 4 MB/MA, MA/MB, MB/MR, and MR and MA/MR i guess in some rare cases...what im saying is that not really all that customizable....because well i dont think 3 or 4 choices should be considered customization...just like 2 or 3 skill difference in stigma builds ...Now...if you take into a server with no godstones....You can start to add in things like HP, Block would be seen more often...More people would go Accuracy over having Mr as a bottom stat...If Evasion wasn't capped at 30% people would go evasion more often...the list can go on ...

Im not joining the whole trades argument...ive been to lumiel way back when ....when they were the only ones with the GM suits for 1 trade otherwise ive never had a problem trading for what i need in siel...Other than that gm suit ive never tried to get anything from lumiel...I've heard kinah is useless there and well every time i go play lumiel one of the biggest annoyances for me is your guys trade broker...its always empty..here i can get whatever i need any day of the week...be it manastones, godstones, instance gear, consumables...you know whatever...

Seriously godstones and woc 2 unbalance the game more than having full skills does...unless your talking about sm cus thats just a rofl conversation right there.

,,,,no i might be on my sm 1 -3 days out of the month lol ...Im on my cleric otherwise....quite recently my songweaver....thnx

Also like i said if anyone wants my opinion Stigma is better my personal only deterrent is the population...I mean even get bored on Siel and look how many people we have...its just 100x worse for me on lumiel.
