So, which recording program is worth using nowadays?

I've tried Fraps. Oman. 10seconds videos like 20 gigabyes.
Bandicam isn't bad but even if I get the licensed version, the watermark still remains on the screen. x.x annoying.
Dxtory is better than fraps I guess but still quite big videos.

    Any recommendations? =p

Did the same. But for some reason even when it's licensed, it still has the watermark. =(

I guess I'll go with DXtory, it's not bad.

OBS. Files are small but you need to have good CPU.

Might give that one a try. Never heard of it before. If not imma stick to Dxtory. Not like I don't have over 1TB free space on my HDD so yea lol. Though it is annoying having hugeass videos but it seems like every program makes them quite big. >.>

I don't know how good it is now but I used to use Xfire. It was laggy at times but you can record in high quality and a 30 second vid wouldn't take up 100GB of space.

I repeat, do you have nvidia or not
cause if you have a gpu like the 650 or higher (phew I have a 660) then you can get shadowplay

I'm just explaining it in case you don't know, but it keeps running in the background and temporarily saves the last few minutes of gameplay, and if you have a cool gaming moment you can just click a button and shadowplay saves the last few minutes (I have it set to last 3 minutes) in your hard drive permanently
this thing made me save almost half a terrabyte of battlefield videos since before it came out I was using fraps and I used to have it on all the time in case I got something good on camera.. and oh well it took me hours to delete everything

other than that, shadowplay is for capturing moments and not videos.. if you have something in mind and you wanna record the whole thing, I know you say fraps takes massive amounts of space, but I don't know it's the only one I've tried and I found a way to get high quality videos with no fps lag while playing and it's awesome

I'm assuming you don't have nvidia since if you did you would already know about shadowplay, but oh well
