Some Ideas to get way more PvP!

This isnt a Flamethread just some suggestions from my line of sight.


1. Remove/Rework the Safezones from Katalam/Danaria
Those safezones are just lame. Ppl are just hiding and/or hit and run. Mb theres a way to rework them so you get a Buff when you go in or respawn there for 1min in that minute youre unhitable until you leave or the minute is over and that buff only refresh if you die and respawn there. When its gone you can get killed.Lower Safezones Hiding = More PvP

2. Remove the TPs to Eye of Tiamaranta/Relics back in the Game
There would be way more PvP if there was a fight bout the Springs in Tiamaranta to get entry. And whats that with the Relics? Why cant we just farm them and get our AP for it? Thats another Reason why the Eye of Tia is just there... Rework the Relics so you get a lower amount of AP or rework them completly and give another reward for. More PvP = More Donaters

3. PvP Sets
Why are the 65 PvP Sets are not obtainable? Well i get that you need Money to pay for the Servercosts etc. But thats 7% difference bout the obtainable PvP and the Arbiter set that you can but for dem Money. And thats really a big gap for ppl who arent able to pay for it and dont tell me "Then Vote" that are 70 Days for 1 piece. Noone is willing to get Raped Months over Months before he can afford the Arbiter. So just give us the 65 sets and push the Arbiter a bit or visa versa.

4. The Serverrates on the Homepage arent correct!
Exp is ~80x AP is ~5x. Please fix that

5. Bring more PvP "Locations"
There need to be way more Places to fight for!

I agree, carl is way too greedy. I'm not looking to start something or offend anyone or get pink but lets be real. The day I came back I dropped $200 to get ACD and accessories to start again in this community and the day after that he introduced HAC to the shop for the same price I payed for ACD... really? on top of that what you can obtain in game is mediocre, you need to trade and waste a lot of time trading crap for credits or final gear so when you finally get top gear another update comes and makes your shit worthless...

 

We already experience it first hand and it will be a miracle if they listen to it this time

 

You have to think of the consequences of these suggestions if they ever get implemented.

1) That is the way NCsoft programmed the game. It'll be a rather long process to remove every single safe zone area individually considering the numerous amounts of them located throughout both maps. Safezones could be disabled overall but that'll mean maps like Sarpan and Tiamaranta would be inaccessible without getting camped. Safe zone PvP is only an issue because it appears most people are sheep and only flock together. If people stop binding there and going to that area, things would change by itself.

2) Tiam Eye isn't the only location to gather up Relics. The portals teleporting to there is for the convenience sake and enables players access to another map for PvP/PvE. Besides, there are numerous methods that grants one a large dozen of relics. Why are players all that concerned about AP to begin with? Battlegrounds and Daily PvP gives you a whole heap of AP, it's not very hard to save up AP. Also by providing AP source only through PvP, it encourages players to PvP more. I've just made 1million AP today, and all I did was 1vs1 BGs and some open world PvP in Gelkmaros.

3) Once again, the debate about not being able to acquire gears. Bloodmark gears (Lv65) and GCD/ACD (Lv60) are easily available through the large abundance of Mithril Medals and Bloodmarks rewarded. Bloodmarks can also be obtained from weekly PvE quests in Katalam/Danaria. I've faced up against numerous Arbiter geared players and can stand toe to toe with them using lv60 pvp gears (HAC and DDL). I might have the disadvantage of numerous stats, but skills can triumph and it is a greater victory when you beat someone who've outgeared you. My gladiator has defeated Arbiter SM, Chanter, Gladiator, Gunner and Assassin, just shows that gear isn't everything.

4) Not going to deny that, the website's information has been wrong for quite a long time.

5) Heiron, Beluslan, Gelkmaros, Inggison, Idian Depths, Katalam, Danaria and the list goes on. There are more than enough maps to fight on. And I haven't even included the battlegrounds for FFA, RvR and Mix_fight. The question is more about whether players are WILLING to accept change and spread PvP around.

Thats why i said the sollution with that Buff! And dont tell me thats not Possible i know it is. For example "If you respawn at such "Safezones" you get a Full Heal and youre safe for 30 sec regardless if you leave or not. And this Refreshs only if you die and respawn again."

First of all i already got my BM stuff and i want to get the next step Gear so i need AP. So and whats how bout other Rewards for the relics like i said before? Like another sort of coins/medals to get GamezAion stuff like some potions or remos or idk some sort of stuff so you dont hate those relics cause the only take place in you wh cause you cant do shit with them. 1million AP in 1 Day i easy to get but i dont wanna pay for the 1vs1 credit entry thingys cause im so undergeared and Free PvP in Gelk/Ingg? Everytime im there, theres nothing not even 1 Enemy to fight with... it seems we play different Games

First of all i never ever said anything bout we cant obtain gear cause its raining and so on.. I just said that the Gap is really big if you dont have the hightest freely obtainable PvP Gear. For Example just got hittet from a Gunner 4.8k dmg noncrit. Thats nearly the half of my life. How iam supposed to fight that? Im playing for 2 weeks now and im convinced that im actually pretty good as Assasin(first time) and i have a lot of fun. But sometimes its depressing when you get 2 shottet in just 2sec. And you won against full Arbiter geared ppl? I wanna see that you win 1vs1 against a Full Arbiter gunner who knows what hes doing.

That will never happen cause ppl have those safezones and they make use of it they only fight if they are outnumber you in a really large amount or have their Generals there.

Please first off learn to quote properly. Secondly No one here on the forums is going to like anything to do with safezone pvp and neither do the people in charge of getting it changed so probably just wasting your time seeing as that bullshit is for the noobs.

Well he plays the lumiel server so yea there is going to be gelk pvp vs siel which has kata/ danaria pvp. Also enabling relics is the worst idea ive heard in a while...On siel right now we have retarded people spamming the shit out of some of the npcs and getting governor in 1 day (100million ap). So yes tell me how that is right in any way. It is not hard to get ap either I personally went from 0 ap to nearly 70 million in under 2 weeks from just BGs.

Ok well to begin there are no gunners who know what they are doing they are all skill spamming and have no skills. And whether you are arbiter geared or bloodmark or whatever ...since you did say that the person "knows what hes doing" the end result is going to be the same with you dead unless you are more skilled yes?...so you kinda dug yourself into a hole there...Gear is hardly the deciding factor especially when playin an assassin its all in the skill.

Please tell me again why you would even participate in safezone pvp when you have BGs to participate in ...its really just kind of takes all arguments you have from you since you choose to participate in the stupidity....Don't like safezone pvp? Dont go there ..omg problem solved Yay....

 

Maybe making 1 Battleground where all Gear is sent Equal. So no more "you got better gear" excuses appear. like a 1 v 1, or 3 v 3.

Because The pvp on this server becomes retarded because everyone likes to zerg. Now that this New awesome battlegrounds came in that makes Things Equal. No zergs. People get scared of going in because they dont got their precious zergy pvp.

So maybe a new BG could be 1 that makes you have equal gear.

 

Are u referring to ALL people? We all would like some challenge here and there and zerg is like massive herd of sheep following one shepard. Now we have bg ,zerg is out of the question since we do have a choice.either open world pvp or hop on bg .

maybe if there is 1 BG with equalized Gear those sheeps will get a little bit more balls.

 

What good will your buff suggestion do? Safe for 30seconds? Free Heals? That simply encourage MORE safezones since it gives players an incentive of heals and immunity for staying and binding there.

Why don't people just leave the damn area and not PvP there? Or we could just spawn a bunch of Heroic Balaur NPCs there to keep everyone away, easier solution don't you think? Oh wait, that have been done before, then we get idiots complaining they cannot safezone pvp.

We are playing different games. I play on Lumiel, you play on Siel. Sorry if this offends anyone but All Stigma isn't exactly Aion. Therefore, it is a different game.

Three factors that can ultimately determine how well you perform in this game: Ping, Skill, Gear. Gear is essentially a lesser factor if you outplay your opponent. Like vesiinabox said, you've just dug yourself a hole with your counter argument. If a player is not skilled, whether geared or not, they're just skill-spammers. That's where skill becomes a factor to overcome enemies. I've mentioned that I've beaten players in Arbiter with a lesser geared character, direct proof that Skill > Gear. And if you want, I can provide a recording beating a skilled arbiter gunner. Makes no difference to me either way, it'll only further reinforces my point.

Never happen? I see tonnes of screenshots of PvP in Heiron on Siel. Katalam PvP should be present when people farm bloodmarks. Gelkmaros PvP is definitely active on Lumiel.
