As the Title says im looking for the BEST SORCERER BUILD of 4.5. Haven't played sorcerer since 2011 so post your recommendations.

My personal favorites.

 

Full MA/MB armor full MB/MA weapon.

 

I dont know if i was a good sorc, but my build, templars ( without MR manastones in set ) never resisted my attacks. I was full MA/MB ( set and weap ). High damage, and high magical accuracy. I prefer silence godstone, with that MA... Well i dont know, but my recommend MA/MB manastones. I had 3.200 MB and 2.600 MA ( not exactly, i had a little more than i said ).

Try to use MB/MA and you will see how strong and powerful your Sorce/SM maybe other doesn't even use MB/MA or MA/Mb this is only my opinion, but try to use this build. Good luck

I would also run this for dueling, but Storm Strike is not very good in world PvP and hunting.

Worked for me both in 1v1 and Open World / Group PvP.

Why no Elemental Ward? Because it mostly works only if you're MR build which is a bad primary build for Sorcerer. You don't need it vs Cleric, you're suppose to kill Clerics easy. You definitely don't need it vs Aethertech or Gunners, those are also easy for Sorcerer. Against Spirit Master it's even more useless because they just take it off, against another Sorcerer, well, I'd rather have extra stun than the elemental defense, not like it will turn the table around anyway but extra stun skill can.

Why no Wintry Armor? Because it's not your win when you kill melee's with it, it's Wintry Armor's win, not yours plus it requires you to socket Elemental Ward.

Somnolence for what? For a really quick sleep by double tapping it (then followed by Sleep/Curse of Roots/Sleep Storm) or for a long sleep if you decide to charge it (of course, not as opening, that's suicide).

MB/MA manastones on everything for maximum damage, you also get enough MA off it.

If you can get a second set and weapon, put MR 16 on everything. If you think there's an Assassin around, switch to it just so you can avoid(hopefully) the all mighty godstone procs and Apply Deadly Poison on their opening burst. It always sucks to get paralyzed/blinded/silenced/stunned one after another by a fully buffed Assassin (specially Asmodian Assassin) Deadly Focus + Shadow Rage 200% damage buff, yo! Switch to offensive set after you get away from their opening burst.

Also, please remove Stone Skin when slept by another Sorcerer. Seriously, why do people let their opponents cover silence on them for free?

about manastones i preffer mac/mb orb mb/hp set. but hell in gamez with woc2+attack fuse u are hella fast !!!

I don't know why you're quoting me and showing me a stigma build? I only objected to wasting two stigma slots for nukes when there's already balaur seeker, do you see where I'm going with this?

either way, I wouldn't even use flame spray in that build either, I would replace it with arcane thunderbolt for sure
