Best class / Worst class ?

What do you guys think are the worst and most overpowered classes right now?

My choices would have to be:

In solo PvP:

Worst Class: Ranger
Best Class: Spiritmaster

In group PvP:

Worst Class: Aethertech
Best Class: Cleric

*Note: Assuming the classes don't have the full stigmas.

 

Agree with the Worst Class. Rangers are not getting anything good since 2.5 They keep doing nice Damage but....... But........ well you might know.

But If well played... a Songweaver can break anything! even a well played Spiritmaster with Fear locks.

In my opinion. (If we are talking in normal Aion. (lumiel) not Full stigma system from Noobsiel). Noobsiel description of classes changes a lot.

But best class has been and will always be: Gladiator.

That Depends in other group members also.

But You are right. I would rather have ANY other class in my group than a Aethertech.
And Having a cleric in group makes the group 2 times stronger.

 

After the pvp defense buff, rangers barely do any damage lol.

Songweavers are pretty good, but their burst damage is lacking when Treble Cleave is on cooldown.

Clerics and chanters got buffed quite a lot after the pvp defense buff. They survive so much longer now, specially the ones w/ full arbiter and a hybrid build of MR/Block.

Yup. Sometimes, if the cleric/chanter is just random healing everyone (like Aionstar lol), then they just ignore the cleric and let them run around us.

 

Ranger are never meant to face u head on.the mindset of playing is based on trickery and good decision making while fighting.i dont get it why people are mad cuz they got kill while low hp by ranger/sin.

To each their own.

 

idk about it being the best, but gladiator is a really fun class to play, both during solo or group pvp
now, I don't have the balls to play any of the two priest classes, but I really think they're one of the better ones

about the worst; I'm really starting to hate sorcerers, I used to enjoy playing as one but with the current state of aion I feel like they're way behind. and well, I do have a gunner on retail, and it's nothing special. it shouldn't even be in the game lol.

 

I have yet to try Gladiators, but I know they're quite good.

As for sorcerers, they are pretty good, but they lack defense (as expected).

...Gunners are stupidly overpowered lol. Easiest class to play xD.

 

I remember years ago when my mains were Gladiators. Use self buffs, get chanter buffs, run into zergs spamming aoes, get 20 kills, collect AP, rinse and repeat. It was fun.

I loved just going Leroy Jenkins mode into like the entire enemy force during 50 v 50 or 100 v 100 events. One time I was on my Asmo while in the vent channel with the Illusionists ppl and we were laughing our asses off as I just suicided into a zerg but still managed to kill like 15 to 20 ppl before I died. Then I used a tombstone of resurrection and killed ten more.

Those were good times.

 

Gladiator all the way, fuck those other loser classes :^ )

 

judgeing by the way people are saying its only the classes they play.
why not play all 11 classes to find out what's best for you
u cant say what is best if ya crap at playing a sin but better at playing say a Templar it just don't work a class is as good as the player playing them that's all just find out what's best for u

In group PvP:
Worst Class: Aethertech, Ranger
Best Class: Cleric, Chanter

Not only is Rangers awful in 1vs1 scenarios, they contribute nothing in Group PvP too. All other classes least some sort of crowd control, if not AoEs to deal with numerous targets. Unfortunately makes Gunslingers outclass them due to their overlapping similarities, even if they don't contribute much to group pvp.

 

Solo and group pvp

Worst class: Ranger, easily get killed even with healers around.
Best class: Chanter. Yes, chanter!

Best class: Sorcerer
Worst class: Gunner

 

Sorcerer is quite overpowered in group PvP, but I think spiritmaster would have to beat it because of the op fears lol.

Gunner can still do quite a lot of damage after the pvp defense buff.

 

Solopvp

Worst Class: Ranger/Gunner
Best Class: Spiritmaster(50%)/Gladiator(30%)/Templar(20%) of cases.

In group PvP:

Worst Class: Ranger/Gunner/Sorceer
Best Class: Cleric/Chanter/Templar Suport

 

Best:

Gladiator (momo taught me about it) & Templars during solo PvP. Gladiator (dps), Chanter/Cleric (support) during group PvP

Worst:

Ranger for solo PvP. And again Rangers (sorry Reei lol) and AT for group PvP
