bard, gunner?

I'm still downloading aion for now

but I saw this new Classes Bard and GUnner?

But I search at aion sites
the attributes of Bard are the same with Sorc
and the Gunner with Ranger..


can someone explain this?
do they have the same damage/defenses?

Have a new class, Aethertech too.
Bard have high damage and heal HP and MP, blá, blá, blá = OP class ( My opnion )
Gunner atk fast, stuns a lot, dont have much defense.

 

what?!? bard can HEAL?... do they have tons of damage like sorc does?!
OH! but archer stuns too? idk to archer defense? i don't play archer

Yes, NCsoft purposedly made them similar to the original class in terms of their base attributes. Though they're similar in terms of HP and the scaling for Magic boost, they definitely don't deal the same damage nor defensive capabilities.

Songweavers is a cross between cleric and sorcerer. They're able to heal, have a spammable root, recover MP and have some decent amount of nukes.

Gunslingers are similar to Rangers. Ranged DPS, only stopped by Bind on pistols (bind not blind) and most of their skills can be used on the move.

songweavers so which means they're good in soloing? PVE?
they're able to heal and mp.. and do more dmg.

Aethertechs are pseudo-tank class that branch off from Technists. They're like a templar in many aspects (without the pulls). Decent ability to tank, damage is low, burst skills require charge time or setup, and are pretty buff reliant.

They can PvE quite well, especially solo. However in group PvE situation, many people expect you to be recovering their mana, while still doing damage.

For Solo PvP, their survival defense is rather limited if outnumbered. Since they wear cloths, can't tank all that well either, even if they can heal. They can do better in group pvp with a healer around to cleanse off silences and help keep others alive as a secondary heal source.

tbh the only way people won't hate you in aion is if you're one of the two priest classes
