Help! Updating client problem!

Hello first of all i want to introduce myself, i am Risengeth, pleased to meet ya~. I just downloaded the game and, when i'm launching the client it tells me to update the client and i do, then this pops up Gyazo - 467f10be2963096ef16be2909e126469.png . Now i am able to get and log in then tells me to pick a server then it says there is no server found and the game crashes, please i'm am looking for a solution. i also did the roll back for the official client.

Start the launcher with Administrator rights.

Np, you have a fresh install of aion? if yes, you have to downgrade, follow this thread

yea i did the downgrade already, also i just encountered another problem, it tells me there are no server after it recommends me one, and then the game crashes.

Replace all files in your aion folder with those.

And check your antivirus, maybe those files got deleted.

i replaced the files and when i launch it now i get this

Okay this is now a real problem, did you replace all files in the right path? Maybe its your item.pak, need to call help on this one. Gimme a sec.

Can you check please Aion/L10N/ check the following folders, 1_enu and ENU, how big are those?

Show me with a screenshot, where u put those files in ^^

Hi,
concerning the problem where you couldn't find a server;
it's because you didn't have the right d3d8thk.dll file.
In the files theunderdog sent you there should be the good one.


Where did you put all those files?
Directly in the NCSoft/Aion directory?

the d3d8thk.dll should have gone by itself in NCSoft/Aion/bin32


Did you delete any files by yourself or did you let windows replace the files by itself?

When you click on debug; do you get anymore informations?

The Pak he sent you included the bin64 too and some fixes that shouldn't change anything to the ability of your game to start.


If you deleted files; you should repair your game using the NCSoft Launcher // then follow this guide http://forum.gameznetwork.com/f64/[guide]-downgrade-4-5-0-11-4-5-0-8-a-176789/ // Then apply the GamezAion.exe launcher you used before (with the administrator rights)

If you encounter the same problem as before and can't find a server; try to use the files theunderdog sent you; without deleting anything. Just let Windows replace the old files with the new ones.

Can be closed, helped him trough Skype. And thanks to Kretia for working hard with me to find a solution, btw he deleted the whole bin32 folder.
