Anyone into character customization?

Watch this xD Way too much detail for me, would most likely take a preset lol. You can customize literally everything, polygons on your face, hair distribution, everything.

Exactly. It's a tough job for developers to find a good balance between newbie-friendly and in-depth when it comes to customization.

Way to much options for me, its nice but no thanks, i would sit there for 3-4 hours to make my char perfect, no thanks >.<

 

The fun starts at the character creation. That is so nice and my kind of thing. Definitely "creating" your own character!

 

If I play this game it will take me hours to make a character..

 

I would play the game, just to sit there and create my perfect character! *o*

 

I wont mind playing that character creation game... Wait. There is a game after that?

 

The game looks pretty crappy actually if you watch the 2nd vid on the page. Typical korean arcade style gameplay, the fighting system lacks smoothness to me, totally stuttering attack animations with the old beat-em-up sound effects.

 

Seriously? I was falling in love with the game already, just by looking at how incredibly detailed the characters were. And here I thought aion characters were decently detailed... It would be a shame if the game was bad, I'd really play this game just by that video alone, let me check the others. =/


UPDATE: Well I personally found the game to be quite amazing, I really liked what I saw. Maybe in regards to the gameplay features video, it might go a bit too... "oriental" for me, but I still like it a lot. First game I see you have to tame a damn horse to mount it lol (Epona doesn't count @.@ )

I normally go for the warrior-type classes but that magic class looked amazing IMHO. If this game comes out for English speakers, you can expect to see me playing it to be honest.

Too much work for me... They should just make body/face scan like in SAO :3

But yes, half the people who watch this say "wow so many possibilities I'm totally trying this out" and the other half says "I'd rather not spend 2 hours on character creation so no thanks I'm not playing this"
I mean.. no one forced you to pay attention to the little details, people! It's just there.. in case you need it.. you know.

 

I've been hearing about Black Desert Online for a year or more now and I'm still not sure if I'll ultimately want to play it but I must say that character creation is something else, for once people would be truly unique to each other, and i can only imagine the possibilities some people could come up with.
