Mace or Sword

i know there somewhere in the forums that discusses this thing already, but i cant find it..so i need ur opinions...


which is better weapon for Templar ....MACE or SWORD ????

i like the look of a temp using sword and shield..its like SENTINEL on Transformers XD

You play in Siel which means you have the magical skills that templars have so go for mace plus its more versatile than sword. Also, mace is 3 strike weapon while sword is 2 strike weapon, mace has more Magical Accuracy and Accuracy than sword and mace has Magic Boost, and gives more of it if it's Enchanted while sword doesn't have any (unless you put magic boost manastones on it or with Idian which is dumb).

The only good things sword has over mace is that extra 40 Crit Strike which is a lot easier to replace with manastones compared to the other and better stats mace has over sword, very slightly faster, not noticeable at all (mace having 1.5 atk speed while sword has 1.4) which doesn't really matter because there are Wings of the Circle here plus again, mace is 3 strike weapon while sword is 2 strike and the crit multiplier which isn't much of a big deal in this case, really.
