Wish vip was free O_o and other things i think about vip :D

I think we should be able to trade items with out paying $15 but for vip add like more special items to it instead of just extra xp how about a hole separate area that is only accessed by vip members or something like special limited edition mounts because if imma pay $15 and if i do it monthly imma wanna have something that no one else has without vip extra xp i can just lvl my self i have time trading items phff ill just buy it or something not like i have to trade makes it easy but they should add extra rewards for donating

Phff no feel like voting every 12 hours for 15 days for the rest of my life playing gamezaion lol way 2 much work i hate voting i do it at least once a day just for the server benefits but i can't really do it non stop

 

Retail, as you know, has it so that certain things are untradeable. That means you need to work on each and every character to get each set and after you've done that you can't just give those things away and trade them for those of another class when you get tired of your previous one.

Gamez is a private, PVP server and a retail-like system where items were to stay only one character wouldn't work. The vip system is there to help you trade stuff that you in another way wouldn't be able to trade. Gamez is based on donations that keep it alive, and vip is something extra that you can't do on retail, and that's what makes it not free.

In a heavenly server that would cost 0 bucks to run, everything would be free and you wouldn't have to call it "pay to win". But such things don't, or rarely exist.

 

Think of VIP as a gateway to being able to trade for things that are meant for donators. The $15 may not be exciting, it may even be annoying because you just want to trade for anything and everything without having limits, however, that 1500 worth of credits isn't entirely hard to get with a month or so of effort put into voting for Gamez. That keeps the server high in the voting list, which keeps a steady population on Gamez which then keeps the server fun to play for you.

Ultimately, if you put enough effort into trading up (it can take a long time, but its possible), you don't have to pay for gear on Gamez, but like anything else it takes effort and the 1500 credits for VIP is your gateway of effort into being able to make those trades once you accumulate enough to be able to trade for gear you would otherwise only be able to get from donating.

Keep an eye out for events too and contribute to the server in any way you can! Not every event relies on your in-game ability or gear, and some of them, including our current spring contest, give some very nice rewards!

 

But on retail they have scrolls u can earn to trade items so "Shots fired pewpew" lol

 

Actually most of those scrolls you either receive from event chests which require paid keys to open, or you can simply buy them without relying on luck. Sure, you can also buy them for kinah, but the amount some of them go for is not much different from spending a lot of effort on here to earn gear.

Not to mention there are some sets you simply cannot trade, like the ones that require ranks which are the ones you donate for on here.

Well you can try to get some nice free stuff from friends here you still won't be able to get any friends to give you a governor set on here or on retail.

 

Lol allready got a full arib set and 65 pvp offset with 60 acd weapon

 

And there's limits to that, and they were introduced recently. Gamez VIP has been around for as long as I can remember.

Now, if your question is "since with 4.5 packaging was introduced so just remove VIP and make trading free", keep in mind that this server is like I said based on donations. VIP status is one of the best ways of getting money because everyone trades, and it will probably be kept like that.

 

U still will make money from donations from people paying for gear and if u add somthing like a private area just for vips and other ish more people might buy vip but people do mainly buy it for trading but just add something else amazing to it that is better then trading lol like flyind g in certain areas LOL! ppl would prob be pissed nvm

Dont be lazy... vote every 12 hours (its not that hard, you can vote on notebook, pc, even on mobile) and you can have VIP every month and some credits left also (1k +-). Ofcourse its not possible to vote exact every 12 hours... But even if u just skip some days, you will still have vip + some credits.

 

If you can use a full arbiter set then you're governor and I don't know how I would possibly convince you to want to play Gamez when you had already invested so much time into retail

I've seen that before but I don't know that we could really give players that ability/a new area without client modifications which are illegal. Its easy when we can just zone off certain places but Gamez is making use of most if not all areas except tests.

If you're willing to spend hundreds of dollars on a full Governor set that costs 3.5k a piece you shouldn't be complaining about a VIP status. Gamez is and always has been a server that's based on donations and you knew it from the first minute you decided you're gonna play here.

I mean I would get it if you were frustrated about not being able to trade the stuff you earn without donating because you have no money to spare for an online game, but complaining about a 1.5k status when you've already bought a full governor set is absurd.

Like I said, private servers are maintained by donations, and I'm not saying Carl doesn't have money to run the server after all these years, but you should understand that since it started like that, it will stay like that.

 

And I don't see it changing anytime soon just because someone who doesn't want to exert effort nor money said so..

It's all just a matter of choice, really.

And I do remember the same thing has been suggested before (free VIP subscription) but since they presented no specific benefits for the server as much as how the VIP feature and subscription provides, they were ignored.

In the end, it's fine as it is. And other than working on new features you're suggesting that might even cause more bugs, there are far better and more serious things that needs the Admins' attention..

You don't like it, fine. But you can't pretend that everyone agrees or that the server has to bend to your particular tastes.
Don't like it, find another place that is of your suitable liking.
