Not gonna agree or disagree regarding this matter. These are for you, hope they helps.

Firstly, you willingly choose to play on this private server despite knowing how things are over here. It's your choice.

Secondly, it's hard to persuade or change how things worked since people here have already accepted it long ago, kind of like a tradition. In simpler terms it will be something similar to telling Muslims to stop their prayers or Christians to stop going to church. Hope you get the point.

Lastly, they don't take normal players suggestions at all. One of my guesses will be, the concern is that people will start giving ridiculous "suggestions" and if they (anyone from the senior position for gamez) happened to reject any, they will be questioned, perhaps for instance "why did you guys accept suggestion from *certain group of people* but not us", "conspiracy between hackers (who are actually good player with low ping and actually knows what they are doing) and admins?" etc.

Some of the comments above are base on assumptions, so DO NOT jump into any conclusions regarding them.

 

I probly donated over a thousand dollars within the first 3 years when ABG sets are the top of the line. Now it hurts me to say that I did and think that money isn't always the source of happiness. Having what you really need on this game (20 woc2 and 3 governor set), you really don't think anything else lol.

 

There wasn't vip before and everything was tradable - talking about 2010. To make it fair it'd be good to suggest smth different like having specific days when everyone gets vip for free, for example in the beggining of each month/on holidays/whatever u choose for an hour-two-three everyone to be able to trade with no restrictions. Completely removing it will basicly make the server lose money.

For me once u gear up, vip becomes completely useless, and I wouldn't waste a dime for it until I start needing gear again.

 

VIP will never be useless as long as you can trade certain items with them, regardless what type of equipment or items they are. Not everyone plays aion just to go around killing innocent people who are doing blood mark quest or hunting for materials you know? *pouts*

 

Actually, Scrolls on retail they called Courier passes arent free unless someone buys it and trades it. You need Real money to buy these scrolls you are talking about and 1 can cost 10$ to buy. But to trade 1 Weapon on retail with these scrolls, you need 6 scrolls. but not just any kind of scroll, you need a specific scroll. There are multiple types of scrolls for different gear. Amba Gear is AP set so it needs level 61- 65 AP Courier pass. Which is the most expensive and hardest to find.

Getting on in trade cost probably about 200 - 400m Kinah depending on the person and then after you do get your scrolls, you will pay that person another 700m buying the gear with medals and AP. Then since this is level 65 AP gear, you will need to spend about 20 - 100m per enchantment buying stones from broker. And then another 100m getting manastones on 1 piece. But because retail is retail, the fail rate is about 500x more than here. You probably be spending a few billion just to max out 1 piece. And if you ever actually played retail, you will know that just making 1m kinah is a pain in the butt.

But even so after getting the requirements, you need to trade the items through Mail system. And if your buying an untradeable gear from someone else, you need to buy the scrolls then give the scrolls to the person. You can get scammed and trade the scrolls and not get anything in return.

And unless you have your special friends that not everyone has, you will have to pay for your own stuff. And Not all untradeable items are able to be traded with these scrolls.

VIP is one of the main source of Income for GamezAion. Other than that, its purchases credits for items in shop.

Voting helps the server be on top of the "top 10" websites so we can get more players to play the server and maybe help get us more donators.

This private server allows you to do so many more things than what retail can offer. You can wear ranked geared such as Amba and Arbiter without having to be that level Have all skills if you play siel.

The only Aion server you will play where 99% of the items will be free is retail. But if you go to any other private server, you will see that something will be costing money to pay. Whether it be gear, scrolls, enchantments or services. If you dont like the way private servers work, make your own and play it for free. But wait, you cant because running a server cost money. Only other option is to go on retail and have no chance of getting the gear as the gear on retail you probably wont ever see on your toon.

And VIP for 1 or 2 hours every month won't really get you far, as it usually takes days to trade something unless you get lucky.

Gamez is easier to get geared than retail. Even if you dont donate. Takes time but it can work and it takes luck. All you need to to get a few GCD ACD sets. Trade them for HAC sets/Pieces. Get a few hac sets and trade them for Arbiter pieces or trade a few hac sets for 1 amba set. On retail you cant do that.

 

All he's saying is that when you are finally geared up and don't need anything else VIP is a low priority. Of course VIP will never be useless, it's just that at one point you won't need it as much. But you're still gonna need it.

 

I don't have to know any of this... I was expressing my opinion. As for the trading I've already said what I had to once geared, vip is nothing but 2 blue diamonds around my name. For questing and hunting my solution is permament and it costs only 1.5k - Premium membership.

 

Not at all. Players, may they be normal or staff members play a really huge part on making the game better hence suggestions are always welcome. However, most suggestions get ignored or denied due to failure of stating clearly how is the said suggestion beneficial to the server, the players/community, and the game itself. As well how unrealistic, unnecessary, inconsiderate/selfish and not-well-thought it is. Or mostly, as you said, ridiculous ones. While some might be the ones that fall under your second statement where the suggestion ought to change something really old - such suggestions if reasonable gets considered but undergo testings/processing/deductions from the higher staffs and does not assure implementation.

 

I'm upset that they keep rejecting my idea to add 6 legged pink unicorn mounts that fart rainbows.


In a more serious note, all items used to be free long ago, but sadly people used that feature along with abuse of a bug or two to acquire and give out donator sets for free.(Or something like that.) As a result all trade of the best gear was completely disabled and if you wanted to get the best PvP stuff you had to donate or vote for it.

The backlash and QQing from the playerbase was pretty high, and eventually it was worked out to where the VIP system was made so that people can trade the fancy stuff and bug abusers wouldn't be able to abuse it to their advantage. If the VIP thing were taken away, then crafty people could probably just abuse those bugs again to get their stuff.

 

I get that it's annoying to vote for stuff, I personally don't do it because I'm overly lazy, but realistically it takes no more than 5 minutes of your time every 12 hours. That's 10 minutes every 24 hours, or about 0.7% of an entire day. Let me say that once more, it takes less than 1% of the time of an entire day to vote. I can't possibly imagine a life so "incredible" that you can't pause for 10 minutes within 24 hours to do something that in the end would result productive for you, and would give you a benefit that lasts 30 days, or rather 720 hours, or even more extreme: 14,400% of the time you spent voting in the entirety of a month. (10 minutes a day for 30 days equals to 5 hours, of which 14,400% is 720).

Even the most simple of maths can prove that your argument is beyond invalid. Also, Skrillex's music sucks.

 

But retail = Less bug i guess? And the most important, we can pay for the NEW COSTUMES in retail which gamez doesn't provide.

Therefore my point is I WANT THOSE COSTUMES, can they be added in so as to get people to pay for them? *No over-priced charges please, hope it will be cheaper than retail price.*

And something i wish to point out, is it possible to allow unlimited us for costume remodel in private servers? If not then, other than easier instances and sanctum events, are there any other attractive points that can be mentioned at all? Because i can see why players left even though certain players vs players equipment are now obtainable without credits unlike before.

 

Not even 5 minutes... it takes almost only 1 minute to vote... only when voting in school (ultra slow pc) or mobile phone it takes more.

 

Retail has less bugs because retail is the official version. Gamezaion uses an emulator. Its not the real game. The client and server are different. Which is why there are so many bugs. Your not going to find 1 private server wihtout alot of bugs. the only private servers you will find with less bugs are the ones who limit things. Such as they control which maps you go to, control where the NPCs are at. As you know, some private servers don't have everything. They delete half their server stuff. Such as they delete about half the maps and restrict users to going there. and they fix certain maps perfectly and allow players to pvp there only.

As for Costumes. We have alot. We dont have them all. Not yet at least.

Our player base size has increased since the BG events and introduction of the instances in sanctum. Costumes are costumes.

And no, Gamez Did not lose players due to the fact of bugs or lack of costume. We lost players when NCSoft Aion became Free to Play. I know, I still talk to many old players who use to play Gamez. They all play Retail now. I know because I play with them. Many of the leaders of major legions of Game such as Raybunny and Many other play Retail. The day That Aion Became free to play, Retail gained thousands of players.

Gamez is the best Private server you can find now. Yes, there may be some good other ones but they dont have nearly as many players as gamez.
