Problem with items.pak

Hello, I decided to post this here, because here I found the items,pak guide. I can't make my items.pak work, I tried every step on the guide, including the compressed items.pak and the loose file version. Also tried to leave both types of items.pak in the folder or leave them separately as well. Nothing worked.
I would be glad if you know the issue or have any ideea that could help me.
I'm currently running Windows 8.

what is exactly your problem, what is not working for you?

 

Whitch item pack did you download because there are a few up there did u download compressed or lose?

 

He did.

Maybe he is trying to pass/trade an item which need to be VIP..

@Bl00dshed What kind of items are you trying to trade?

 

He didn't even tell use whats wrong with the item pack he just said it don't work maby he put it in the items folder instead of data/usa/items

I know there are some items that only VIP can trade, but I tried to trade/sell in broker/mail some bastion protector items, a pair of stormwings and things like these, items that I can find in broker and are not so valuable.
And yes, I've put my items.pak in my data/usa/items, exactly as the 4.5 items.pak guide said and tried both ways.

 

Bastion Protector items are not tradeable without VIP, im sorry. The same goes for Stormwings, you can check aionarmory.com for the items and for example:

Stormwing Scale Sword



You can see its not tradeable. For this item you need VIP.

You can check all items like this, but almost everything is untradeable.

 

So u tryed to sell some bastion gear on the AH? i don''t think u can do that can u O_O and also did u downgrade that could be the problem 2

 

As people said these items are not tradeable without VIP, but try putting them in your account warehouse just to make sure your item.pak is working fine.

 

I understand, Underdog. Well, I saw many bastion items on broker and they are easy to get, so I thought they are also tradable with non-vip account. Thanks for the information, I will try the items.pak by trading other items

I've put my bastion items aswell my stormwings in my account warehouse, so as you said, my items.pak is working atm.
