[SPOILERS] GoT Discussion

Not the sound, I don't know that anybody really mentioned the sound except my dad was talking about it so I took extra notice and thought it was a pretty hilarious sound, but no apparently people were getting suck over the gore/blood etc. of it happening. It didn't really phase me, the book description of it was more shocking after all the build up.

if im right the show so far had a pattern,with the "best" episode being the one before the season finale,so that would mean the next one is gonna top oberyn being popped like a balloon. Im guessing the midget is either getting fucked or theres gonna be some dramatic twist and he escapes again,getting tierd of his face. Saw some interview and he is compensating being a midget with being a cunt, wont be missed.

 

The fight in the book was awesome and yeah a stupid stable kid got in the way and was cut in half

 

The finale always ends in a cliffhanger so it'll probably be something with Tyrion. Episode 9 is usually dedicated to one big event. I forgot if 9 was actually dedicated to anything in Season 1, but Season 2 was The Blackwater, Season 3 was The Red Wedding, and next episode is probably going to be entirely dedicated to The Wall.

 

Pretty confident that this will be the best season finale so far, a lot of twists have been put off til the last possible moment.

 

I let myself cry for a second(like, literally a second), I started feeling dizzy, and it took me and a friend of mine about an hour to get over the whole thing. Considering Oberyn was one of my favorite characters, yeah.... no other death hit me this badly, and I knew it was coming which is why I'm even more surprised!

I hereby prohibit the mention of his death in this realm. For all intents and purposes, Oberyn Martell still hasn't died. He killed The Mountain, got a confession out of him before he died, and is fucking a lot of Sand girls in Dorne. Whoever claims otherwise will do Ned Stark some company.

 

Remember that one guy called Ned Stark? And a little shit head king who recently died at a wedding who liked to have people's heads cut off?

I thought of that "into him" thing when typing that sentence.. That's sad..

 

Stupid way to kill him off,for a character with great potential. They gave him a bit of screen time and the actor did a great job with it, too bad the books cant be rewritten
The death scene was done really well,even tho i prefered the prior mountain to this one. Oberyns eyeballs bleeding,teeth all over the floor,they made it look genuine.It was impressive to me.

 

The teeth were more disturbing to me than the eyeballs bleeding... Q-Q

 

yea i was startled when he was screaming, all he was left with were a couple broken ones. The eyeballs and teeth combo did it for me,didnt really buy the whole head explosion thing.It would be more brutal and believable if he would punch his face untill it was a pile of meat.But i guess someone had a hard on for making the mountain look like a badass,maybe they were compensating for his lack of acting skills?

 

No need for acting.. Let his body do the talking..
