Good day my Gamez AION friends,
I need your advice. The problem is that i can't really decide which class to play... I know that it's quite a retarded question, but if it wasn't important for me I wouldn't ask.
I can play very well with few classes and I can't really pick one. The classes are Ranger, Chanter, Cleric and Songweaver.
I would very like if you give me your oppinion which one to pick and to motivate your answers.
I know that this is something really stupid and the thread do not deserve your attention, but I really need your help once more

    Yours sinceserely,
    Rosel

To be honest, I'd suggest you play Songweaver as my girlfriend switched her chanter to Songweaver as it is a very good DPS class, if you know how and when to use the correct skills. Songweavers also have a sort of bigger "life span" than a ranger for example and potentially could bring more damage on a target overall than a ranger, IMO. Manastones would be a bit of a downfall though.

If you would go ranger, it will be a bit harder to get gear at first as you wouldn't really be recruited to groups unless you have a pretty decent damage to deal, since you are supposed to be a DPS. Note that I believe rangers did get nerfed and they're slightly squishy.

Chanter is good, and would probably overpower most of the classes, again, if you know what you are doing. They're also recruited by many groups as they're a supportive type DPS class. It would benefit you and the team, as you will be gaining equipment + experience.

Cleric, well, only go for it if you have a lot of patience and you don't mind getting death threats if some idiot does some stupid thing and dies, then blames you. That's it.

Play songweaver and burst everyone down. Easy and fun to play, combination of classes like cleric+spiritmaster+sorcerer. Has everything you'd need heals both hp and mana, dispells, sleeps, dots, paralyze, silence and enough damage to kill almost every class

^That. Simply 2 chain skills and your opponent is dead, if any one of those were a crit spell.
Nothing like a 2k song -> 2k song -> 5k crit Throne Song. And people goes it's a "hard" class to play. >_>

Still didnt say which server :/ Bard is great on siel but it does take a lot more skill to play on lumiel. Cleric is op on any server just spent the last 2 days taking out groups of people in mix fight as a mb cleric lol.

Since everyone already said Songweaver, Imma go for DPS Chanter.
Chanters can be pretty much fun in my opinion, they have a lot of stuns, like two healings skills (and one of that is also a MP healing skill) and good shields. Dunno what to say anymore, Ive got a songweaver on Lumiel and tried out a chanter on another server (-removed-) and I really had a lot of fun, I still have, so I guess Chanter is a pretty decent class

    - - - Updated - - -

And if you go to Siel playing Chanter there, its even more op. Same with Cleric there since you got good damn heals & dps skills

Chanter is great but kinda mh, sucks? because of the fact everyone has WoCL2 here which destroys his strength against melee's, which is bad because almost everyone here plays the easy Gladiator

Ranger is by far the strongest class in the game but only for people which really really know how to play the class so better go for Songwiener i guess, pretty easy to learn.. pretty easy to kill stuff

I'm currently playin on Siel, asmo side. I want to thank you for your comments <3
So I know how to play with the classes I wrote down on my main post, but to be honest I got tired of the cleric. I used to be a supporter in ANY MMo i played. The chanter is so/so... Despite the fact that I'm poor at this moment and I can not afford top gear, i can easily collect Blood marks for a complete set + weapon + access for 3 days. Since Siel have all skills it is really easy to play chanter, but the better gear of the rest is what stops me from chosing it, despite all the buffs the class has, it would be really tough to deal with them.
I did noticed the weaknessess of the ranger... I'm not saying that I'm very good with it, but I did few duels with all classes. Staerer gear and no manastones... well it's quite a disaster :laugh outloud:
May be i'll go for the Songweaver. I have lvl 65 songweaver in Siel (the 'official" one) and i think that I'm doing very well with it. Will give it a shot here too. I just hope that the Gladiators and the Templars aren't going to be a problem...
Oh by the way, we can't purchase the remodelled weapons, can we? I couldn't find the NPC which sell them.

If you are talking about Remodeled Danuar weapons and armors, they are sold for Ancient Coins in Idian Depths from a shugo located in a secondary room of the main halls.

Well, Songweavers def. sucks pretty hard. She said she cant effort money atm. Which makes it even harder lol. My Songweaver is bm geared (I got two arb parts by now) and when I was full bm geared it was like I failed in seconds even tho I kited the enemy. Gunners were just too op, Rangers two shotted me same with Glads and their ranged skill (i forgot the name). Ofc I tried to heal myself but that was all that I could do, sleep/root healing myself and getting damaged again (against good players ofc). When I didnt had Woc2 nor 9% Atk speed harp, it was pretty damn hard damaging someone in 1v1 or 2v2 since I only could heal myself, I just got too much dmg even from clerics which arent dps. Chants doesnt suck, they still can do things like stunning with the right manastone socketing, just my opinion (even with BM gear.. ofc its hard to do smth against arb guys with bm gear, but that is the case on EVERY class). And since they have chain equip, theyll have more defensive than cloth classes, thats why Id say chanters are good even if youre not so well-geared. The woc2 thingy is right, but isnt it like that on every class? So yeah.. Imo Songweaver depends on gears, if you're full geared with woc2, arb, shep+5 and 9% atk speed harp you can nearly pawn everyone, thats right, you dont need skills for it. But getting all those equipments is hard/expensive as fuck, and since she said she cant effort it atm.. Yeah D: Hope you got my point o:

Since gunner surrounding and beat my back with 2 skills, im retiring from gladiator Toshimori (old player will know this Gladiator in Ingison and Gelkmaros). So now Im a Bard and only nickname Bard in Siel. Be a songweaver and have much fun with it.
