Help with ranking system.

Hey, im just wondering why im not a star officer yet, i asked a gm yesterday what was needed and they said just the glory points.

I am currently Rank 1 with 850k AP and 1740 Glory Points.

I the GM said that it no longer uses you AP to determine you rank but i dont understand why im not a star officer then :L

and yes these stats were from yesterday so the server has updated.

 

It only means that you need more GP to get to officer. Notice that there are rankings which means that the person at the most bottom of the ranking for officers has more GP than you currently have. Join another round of siege and you'll probably get 1-2 star with the current GP you have plus the GP you will be gaining if you attend siege later. Btw, ranking updates every 1pm (GMT +8) my time.

 

But looking on the leader boards shows 1 stars and 2 stars with less GP than me :L

 

Try to check in the next ranking update. It happens 1pm (GMT +8).

 

Are u soldier rank 1 ? Couse you need to climb soldier ranks first

Mhm I got star officer in a day, worked fine for me. As soon as I got more than 1244 gp I was 1star officer. Right now I've got 2.1k gp so I'm 3star officer (will most probably stay this until I get 3064gp or more).

As Bordy mentioned, I think you just have to wait for the next daily ranking update.
& then you'll be 2star :3

These are the offical amounts of AP needed to reach any rank between 9 and 1.
However, Gamez's AP rates (gain,loss and required) are multiplied by 5.

So the AP needed to reach Rank 1 are 150,800*5 = 754,000.

Abyss ranks above "Soldier Rank 1" are not only determinated by Abyss Points anymore, but also by Glory Points.
There is also a minium of AP and GP required to reach 1 Star Officer:

AP: 214,100, which translated in our system becomes: 214,100*5 = 1,070,500.
GP: 1,244.

So your GP are above the amount required to gain 1-Star Officer (Infact you are above 2-Star Officer, GP wise), but you lack of the necessary AP to reach the ranking. (850k < 1,070,500).

note: this is valid only to reach 1-Star Officer, AP do not matter anymore for upper rankings.

You also have to remember that there are only 1000 available spots as 1-Star Officer for each faction. So if you wish to get 1-Star Officer as well, you need to reach the minimum of AP and GP needed for the rank AND you also have to surpass the last 1-Star Officer of our rankings.

In short? get more AP and you'll get your officer rank.

Thanks for the reply ! I asked a GM this yesterday and they assured my AP is no longer needed for 1 Star of above, I thought it was quite strange, look like ive got some pvping to do ! <3

 

That's what i meant yesterday, you don't need ap above 1-Star, but you still need to reach it
