Worth to play retail?

I have never actually played retail aion..
Is it worth playing? If not, could you tell me why not

Everything codded correctly, not to say anything on Gamez is wrong damage wise and all I wouldn't know, haven't played here in years.
Higher population.
Less "Lol I have donor gear gonna get carried by it 5v1"
Current updates.
It's easy as piss to get to level cap now, easy as piss to get decent gear to hold your own in pvp.

Well Retail will probably much harder and i guess it would be kinda more immersive because you would really need to grind and farm to get your items and you would have to do loads of quests, Gamez from what i had gone through was like run n gun just rush till 55 and vote/donate to get dem items

 

You can even get full +15 L30 Abyss set + accessories easily. The weapons are a bit tougher but not by much. That gear basically carries you to level 55, even helps you solo things like theo labs/atma trash to power level yourself, or depending on class you might be able to solo besh bosses after that. Leveling is really super easy now like anony said, and you get lots of rewards thrown at you.

 

Retail has become pay2win. They throw exp boosts at you from all directions so people get max level real fast anyway. With the introduction of +30 gear, enh stones from web store and tickets that let you trade untradeable gear you don't really stand a chance. People hit the cap in ~2 weeks and buy the best gear in the game, then max enchant it. In the meantime, the ingame enh rates turned to sh!t, highest gear I had there was +3 or so and that is not due to lack of trying. Besides, it is as much zerg fest there as it is here.

Are you high cause I want some.
And it's not even close to pay to win compared to here.
Not to mention wraps and couriers aren't even in the webshop, they're only from lockboxes which are an RNG fest. GL getting some.

 

Took me more than a month to get level 57 while on fast track doing all the growth quests, dunno what I'm doing wrong >.>

Get mentored to 35, solo alq labs to 46, solo tlabs to 53, solo bt to 65. Can be done in a week.

I'd suggest playing on Siel, it's the most balanced and populated.

Pff.. I didn't have high level friends to mentor me, girl, I had to do fire temple with the 1mil XP quest outside of it until I was like L40 >.>

 

That's sad.
You can easily solo Alq labs or the elyos equivalent at 35. And it's like a level or two a run.

 

To me, I like retail better. Just because I like high population. GamezAion used to be High population but that changed when retail went F2P

Nothing, jsut different locations. One is North america, one is Europe. Different servers and players.
