Sorry if i insulted u some way... wasnt my intention... wat im trying to say is that if u want to put a ground pvp zone then create one just for that (or open in this case) instead of modifying stuff.... i have been on another servers and our client supports the map im sure bout that.... anyways no point of arguing after all i dont own the server and im playing for free... so do wat ever u think is best ^^ we decide if we stay or leave thats all...

 

There isn't any thing changed in server. I can give you some files from the server where you can raise the server rates and that stuff.

And i never said that you lie. And if it is illigiaal to run a private server why does NCsoft/blizzard and lot of others allow it. (yeah oke blizzard have closed 1 server but that was because they could get over 20 M for it and community size was more then most servers of them)

 

NCSoft shut down the biggest Lineage 2 pserver a while back because it had a ridiculous number of users. Sued the owners too.

The fact remains, it IS illegal to run Pservers, regardless of whether or not you change the core, and it's foolish to believe that it would be legal if you didn't. The reason Big MMO companies allow private servers to exist, is because until they reach a competitive number of users, they're not a problem.

 

Basicly they, the official companies, 'earn' the players from the Pserver because they offer better service for the cash the players pay :wink:

I have played LA 2 on private and official server and the difference was quiet big in the quality of the game and the services... You get wat you pay for...

 

Some people need to chill out about the new ground pvp thing, it's fun. Anyways, there's still free flight in Morhiem/Eltnen. So it's a win win Imo. Sure, ground pvp is a little glitchy now, but give it some time.

 

um dude 1.l2extreme was sued and took down because they used official server to run it and thats illegal and if they used l2j a source that wasnt created by nc soft then they wouldve never been tooken down or sued 2.Um private servers arent illegal for your info as long as you have your own source and you dont mess wit stuff that isnt supposed to be messed wit and follow the eula and rules of ncsoft then your fine.

 

They just keep making this server worse with every update If your goal is to get rid of your player base then keep up the good work

Private Servers are considered illegal. U can even read it through their rules and regulation, privacy section, piracy etc. Those official servers are not just taking actions to those small time private servers unless if its already popular and too many population pservers like those indicated above. That is why few are sued by the orig owner. And I think raising the exp or changing the orig setting or modifying it considered editing and against the terms and condition of the orig game so all pservers are considered illegal...

How come a topic that started on Ground PvP suddenly shifted to a topic regarding the legality of Private Servers....

Try to relax guys... this update like any major change in the game mechanics needs time to be perfected... Just stay patient and if you really love the server and the game then I'm sure this little setback wouldn't force you to quit or transfer

 

Majority of the people are here because it is free and has high rankings with votes because earn rewards that way. Beyond that, most don't care about the server less it affects there account or characters.
