Server Port Changed?

without it i cant play in 2 hours ill get just frozen game as i login so without battleping this server dead for me..

 

Quit whining for god's sake, I wasn't able to play GamezAion for around a month because of the Host.
You lag? You got problems with it? It's legitimate to make a thread but don't whine all over the forums, make a thread with an explanation and wait for Carl to read it.

 

sorry sir its just very annoying why other people telling crap to other people thats need help..

anyway i hope someone tell this to carl before asian players quit on this server..

 

WELL I got a solution Carl, i think you changed/blocked proxy ports in your server cause hackers or something like that right? well why dont you block all proxy ip's? we dont use proxy IP to connect in your server, we just use proxy filter data to lower the latency, wont harm the server at all, also there are alot of players lagging alot now, we still use our own IP's to connect by proxy, you can test by your own that, theres alot of ppl lagging alot now, and theres nothing to do, i got 190-200 ms when alone i map, but when i pvp or city i get around 450-800ms, its pretty impossible to play

so just block proxy ip like they did in retail version, dont block proxy connection traffic, cause its the only way to anyone outside USA to play in the server.

lol you pretty wrong, im not from PH and i lag alot, my friends are not from pH and lag alot, theres alot ppl from south america, or west usa that lags alot, there are ppl from japan, china, korea, europe that lags alot without proxy(Stop the Racism)
just let us play too, i know a guy that has a nice connection and got 800ms, sometimes is the route your connection take with server will lag alot, so proxy is the only wait we got to get a ping like 250-300 in game, try to play with 800ms to see if you can do something

Stop the Flame, its about players and Carl, not players and players

 

will change back to 7777 next restart

We really can't argue with foreigners(Mostly EU and NA users) with there net spd.

They have 30mbps home lines or 100/100.

PS: Tbh Philippine ISP is a Fail.

I never used BP myself, but i understand now that it is a lifeline for a lot of people playing on GA. But how comes it can work with port 7777 but not with another port, like 7779? Isnt that something configurable?? :unsure:

 

aion by default is configured 7777, even at battleping server. If you change it, gamezaion will not listen to request for 7777 port, so yeah, it mean tat battleping request to access gamezaion is rejected. As for the configurable - Example (7779port) : both gamez and battleping must have same port, but since battleping is no way of changing or adding 7779 port, so gamez will change it or forget about using battleping.

i dont know why we get high ping in 7779 and low in 7777. All we want here in the shop is to return to 7777 when we can have low ping like around 200+ to 300+ ping and the max ping we got 500+ to 600+ (this will just occur when theres some people in the shop downloading and streaming :crying but anyhow were happy for the good news :biggrin::w00t:

My ping has been better than normal on that port. 57ms average. :lol:

 

lol..port is just like a gate - allow/disallow. So i think there is no way it affect the ping, unless it is blocked.

anyway, when is next reboot? xD
