That philly cheesesteak sandwich with the bacon and ice cream sundae and all that sounds yummy. You should eat one right before your 6 mile hike so then you have plenty of energy. Don't do it hours before or wait till y'o'u'r'e done, because then y'o'u'l'l lack the energy. You gotta scarf it all down like IMMEDIATELY before you line up and all that.

In that case you should eat two. One right before so you have energy ready to go and then the other during. Try to keep it hidden though because if everyone else sees you with the food then they'll start bugging you to share. Like one time during a hike back in my military days I snuck off, shot down a quail, and was roasting it around a campfire but I set it up wrong and the smoke gave me away and some of the other guys found me and were pestering me to cook more quails for them and I was like "Gaiiisss I'm out of arrows! Go make your own bows and shoot down your own quail" And then the drill instructor heard the commotion and was like "WHAT'S GOING ON BACK THERE!" And I was like "LOOK A DISTRACTION!" and then when everyone was looking I threw down a smokebomb and got back to my spot in line with my ninja skills and the other guys got in trouble.

Serves them right for hounding a guy trying to cook some quail that he hunted himself.
