WTB > Banning team?

Before play here i played on another server (i dont say the name) where GM were always in patrol in permanent HIDE state,so no chance to see a GM and when someone used hack, hide state off and banhammer on..simply and efficient.

 

yeah i played on a server like that before it was strict but people was happy lol then i stopped playing and forgot what server that was

 

no need to all say you would like to be part of the police force, of course everyone would like to have banning powers If the GM's like this idea they will eventually decide who should be given these powers.

 

To be honest, i dont like run behind people and ban,thats because,maybe im stupid, i still trust in people and i hope they understand that they are playing a game.
Btw i dont like people that ruin the game with things like hacks/scamm so im ready to give an hand if necessary..
I repeat,i play this game a lot of time so if gm decide that they need a hand i join.

 

Btw, most of the gm's that work are "volunteers"
I use to be a gm on Xilero and he would pay me with items once in a while.
I want to crush those abusers!!

 

I think gms should really think about this seriously!
hackers are really annoying :S

 

a game with hackers is not a game, is just a mess, gms need to do something really fast, if there is someone posting on this thread that are against anything to ban hackers, is because they use too, we hope gms do something right now! also i see alot of people killing summoners pets at main city, how come?
and how about that infinite auto target? i made a test yesterday, i put a new 55 toon at a place almost ouside of the map like nowhere, and then went afk, when i came back 5mins later, i saw 4 elyos ganking it, how did they found ?
then i tought it could be cause they were searching a place to put a kisk dunno, but i put myself at many places, and they found me always, so i think they can see the target about infinite meters away lol, also they can see hide 2 without any skill etc... wellthats bad lol

 

Well looks like reporting a person using hacks works pretty well when of course you have Fraps, so learn to use it. There's new GM's being added right now I guess since there's applications being accepted.

Unfortunately Brian from Romania, I've seen a bunch of people from your own legion using hacks and such so you may want to stop that before you go and act righteous against others.

 

Well... Just give me the Ban~Hammer and I'll do it for free No charge .. Really !! lol

 

i agree with brain if you try to whisper a gm they didnt answer well except GM bryne his the only gm that help me and ban the scammers we need more gm like gm bryne i wonder how many gm's that will go online just to fool with gm commands then log out

 

I agree on anything that reduces the # of lowlives on this server (dupers, cheaters/hackers, bug-exploiters, scammers, etc).

Peronally i blame the report-system here... you have to do your reports on a vague (non-visible) section of the forum and YOU NEVER HEARD SH*T ABOUT THE PROGRESS of your report.

If i report a player (and i have done that a few times (with VERY GOOD evidence)) then i want to know if it helped to ban problem "players". But i never get informed about what has been done with my report and for me that works very de-motivating (to me it feels like noone cares).

And some reactions of gm's are very disappointing too: i am 100% sure that i can see the difference between a players who accidently got target-bugged or the ones who are fully taking advantage from it.

I still have some proof of chreaters on my hdd, but i cba to report atm (because of this)...

I'll be happy to look at and judge cases off the reports section. I have my own irritations regarding that section of the forums. If you worry about forum nazis, feel free to PM me reports as well. I'll also be happy to look at that proof sitting on your hdd. I'll even tell you which players are banned and which are not.

I have personally banned 11 proven hackers/exploiters in the last two days and had 5 no target glichers relog. Believe me, we are working on this but there is only so much we can do on our own. We rely on your reports to catch hackers so please submit them.

 

I am now starting to use xfire videos to catch these damn hackers too and will be posting more and more videos to help stop this crap.

I sure hope the report section does help get these guys banned and yes it would be nice to get some notification of our efforts in helping with the aion police team

 

I understand that it's difficult (more likely impossible) for GM's to be available to answer everyone's whispers in game when they are online. But it's also difficult for a player to get good proof to report a hacker, getting a video with fraps works sometimes but it makes big files that take a long time to upload, youtube uploads bug half the time (for me at least). Also I live in canada and my uploading bandwith is very limited so these restraints make it hard for me to make lots of hacker reports.

 

This is how the staff line up should be:

Owner =carl (who needs to start responding to the gamez community).
Admins = Arnold schwarzenegger and sylvester stallone
Devs= the man on the moon
HeadGM = Worzel gummidge
GM's = TMNT's
events managers = events only (leaving gms to actually police the server).
