Physics Homework :3 ~Help!

Yeah glad you understood that =o It's approximately 9.8, but for physics problems you guys are gonna be given g=10m/s^2 (at least for now) just to help you with the numbers.

 

Jesus Christ, just PE alone is enough to make me cry, let alone all these subjects

 

My teacher says the same that 10 is easier but 9.8 is more precise!
But I use 9.8 cuz im more of the precise guy x3

Holy Hell! is this high school or advanced college crap. When I was in HS I took English, PE, Chemistry, Biology, PLTW(computer courses with drafting and design stuff) Spanish, Art, History, and pretty much the basic normal stuff.

Oh and welding because I just wanted to play around with metal and blow torches.

This is Highschool
We cant drop many subjects, we got 4 profiles:

NT= Nature&Technics
NG= Nature&Healthcare
EM= Economy
CM= Culture profile

I got a combined profile: So NT&NG + M&O (Management&Organisation)

 

My senior year I was in:

• AP Calculus
• Chemistry honors
• AP English
• Micro/Macro Economics Honors

Then my electives were

• Spanish 2
• Two Advanced Information Technology program classes.

 

Lol, I wish we had Computer Science or ICT
I just love blowing up my pc and then repairing it :3
But our school doesnt have it, instead we got SPU (Science of Public Understanding)
Spu, is pretty cool too, we are studying about bacteria now

Yea. I got lucky. The program just started my freshman year. So I was the president of the program by my sophomore year since I was the senior student.

 

In my class he would give us practice ones to start with, then eventually ones where we had to find certain planets and stuff. Shit doesn't have to be that specific if you're just making students memorize the formulas. xD

 

Btw, how does the american system work with the fresh man and sophomore stuff?

 

Freshman- grade 9
Sophomore- grade 10
Junior- grade 11
Senior- grade 12

Probably not.. since their junior high is grades 7, 8 and 9; highschool is 10, 11, and 12.

In America in which grade would I be?
In Holland its Class 4
Primary school= 8 years
then Secondary school= 6 years
(Based on your level, we got 3 levels: Mavo, Havo and Vwo - Mavo= Idiots, Havo= Smarter but not soo smart, Vwo= Smartest) (Mavo= 4 Years, Havo= 5 Years, Vwo= 6 Years)

And then Univercity!

Atm, I finished 3 Years of Vwo and Im now in the 4th year of Vwo and im 15 years old

 

I remember one time our physics teacher came in the classroom and gave us a problem with some random numbers in the form of "a bear is watching this happen, blablabla" and after finishing he looks at us and goes "what color is the bear?"
All we had to do was find G (one certain number, not approximately) and by that we would judge where the bear lived, and since we knew acceleration due to gravity was slightly different in the north pole than other places on earth and we got a different number than what we were used to, we answered that this could only happen in the north pole so the bear was a polar bear and its color was white.

Fun stuff.

• 9th Grade (age 14)
• 10th Grade (age 15)
• 11th Grade (age 16)
• 12th Grade (age 17)

Of course age varies depending on your birthday and when you start but this was how it was all scheduled for me.

Some states or counties moves 9th grade to Middle school or 6th grade to Elementary school.
