I never made a cake before. I made cookies and cupcakes but a cake. No. I'll probably make it look like something out my toilet

Well I mean I always liked looking at baking videos and I decided to make a cake today so I just followed instructions, it's not that I'm Buddy Valastro D:

not to insult good cooks but i think cooking is all about following instructions.. ofc otherz mutate their senses and whatnot through experience.. still, if u can follow instructions well u may well be on ur way of becoming a hokage chef..

That was literally one time when I was back home and my mom made some.. I haven't had cake in forever >.>

I don't think it's just that, there's many things you need to be aware of like how much of what you're gonna put in it or putting this one extra ingredient or how long you're gonna cook it for in your own oven and stuff like that.. Let's not forget that recipes don't tell you everything, like for example to tap the cake down to make the air bubbles go away! There's secrets!

I think baking is difficult cause there's so many things that can go wrong! Like you can melt your middle frosting if you put the top layer on it when it's still too hot, or you can break the cake in half if you try to pull it out when it's still really hot.. To me cooking and baking is hard, and that's why my cake is so sloppy Q.Q But thank you!

 

Yea lie again. I can recall at least 3 separate times you have told me you were eating cake XD. Make Eclairs they are yummier and you only have to bake the crust (then share ofc)

I wish I had decorating tools though, I have none so on this one I just had to sprinkle some coconut on top and that's it when i could have used my cream frosting to make little stars on stop
