Try to make sure you have around 950 - 970 Crit, and put the rest for Attack.
I recommend that you only go for Attack and Crit Strike manastones, and don't focus on any others. So, in this server it's full Attack +5/Crit 8 + idian.

    Idian:
    Crit Strike +26
    PvP Phyiscal Attack +0.5%
    PvP Magical Attack +0.5%
    Magic Suppresion +56
Use this on all your weapons.

Attack set: Try to reach 960 crit, and put the rest for attack.
    HP set: http://aion.aspirine.su/#!UyqJZSp
    Accuracy set: http://aion.aspirine.su/#!unoBQYn
With scroll and food. +180 crit

    Attack set: +30% attack
    Accuracy set: +23% attack
    HP set: +17,5% attack
    With the sets I mentioned

Magical accuracy makes u hit skills with magical effects such as lockdown(Deals damage but doesn't binds target),ankle snare,Tendon slice...And the godstone procs.
Basically if u have a little bit of MA on ur set those skills won't fail that much but in my opinion on gamez it is useless cuz arbiter provides high magic resist so u won't hit them anyway, try to fight a arbiter cleric and u will see what i'm talking about, not even a arbiter geared, a mr user. But as i said on my other post go for Attack/Crit, this if u like to play aggressive gladiator which is what i played and in my opinion is the bets suited for pvp, u can destroy cloth in 2 seconds with good ms, also i recommend u playing aggressive glad if u have at least 70 ms

I use crit/ma on my set for both chanter and gladdy.

But of course your not going to always face someone you can kill with the set.

Good Clerics on siel are going to be hard to kill no matter what class you use unless you can silence them well.

No, like i told you on gamez there's too much MR. In my opinion MA would be pretty much useless with such high magic resist from arbiter. Also for block sets. What's the point of enchanting accuracy if u won't have damage ? If u try to get 50/50 of dmg and accuracy u won't have enough accuracy anyway wich means it's useless. I would go attack/crit all the way. U can get an accuracy set as a 2ndary set tho :)

He's right if you use arbiter puting accurancy is a waste cause you'd lack some dmg, without puting accurancy in your set and wep you'd have around 3k (for arb only), att/crit would be best due the att incease meaning your berzerking will do more dmg afterwards, the more attack the better, as for att/macc its some useless rng dependant shit where you'd hope to proc a godstone or stumble your target randomply. Hence why I dont recoment the att/ma thing.

Crit 19/Accuracy 14 (until you get 1k crit strike) + Accuracy 29 is the most versatile build for gladiator. It works vs any class of any build. If you only have one set then you should definitely use this build. I'm against to using attack manastones especially if you're not going to socket EVERYTHING with attack manastones anyway, 41x5 (extendable) or 42x5(non-extendable). There are just way too many other options that are better than going with attack build.

    That was funny :D

U have to calculate the crit cap with strike.
The crit cap is calculated by your strike resist + 500 crit. So u don't want to cross the cap. For example if you have 450 strike resist , then your cap will be 450+500=950
I am full arbiter(cloth),my friend @Joaquim with berzerking and ferocity on with Body Smash kills me in 4 hits(3k crit per hit), with a regular skill like Body smash, not talking about final strike, exhausting wave,etc...Leather is also really squishy for aggressive gladiators.. I think those builds are pretty much useless(ON GAMEZ) and the fact that :
That doesn't matters, Arbiter gives u high magic resist meaning MA is not that effective on gamez. If a Templar full principal runs block on shield only that's enough to cover ur accuracy even if u use flat accuracy manastones, and you know what that means ? U can hit without blocking but ur damage will be trash. U should focus on killing classes like cloth, leather and even chain. Also u can easely beat all the other glads with that build, if u play correctly u can beat a glad in 5~10 secs.

450 isn't the highest strike resist a player can get. Are you forgetting chanter's mantra? Are you forgetting that Spirit Masters can take off your Crit Strike scroll?

I didn't say Accuracy can increase your damage. I said it's the most versatile build because it works vs any class or any build.

Accuracy built gladiator will do more damage vs block spec chanter/cleric/templar than Attack built gladiator because when your attacks get blocked, it is decreased by 70%. What's the point of having 200+ attack from manastones if your attacks are going to get blocked and damage is decreased by 70% anyway?

What's the point of having higher attack if your attacks are going to get dodged and will do no damage because you lack accuracy?

It's surprising to see someone I helped how to deal with gladiators and templars as a sorcerer saying I'm spouting shit here, lol.

But u should base urself on those numbers, i mean not every player use that, it's all about an "if". Also u can cover them vs SM with useless buffs and he won't remove it, and if ure good enough and u have woc2 u use the attack speed scroll+armor of attrition+wall of steel+w/e(recovery pot 4 ex)and he won't remove it,neither he will remove the important buffs u need but this is IF an SM won't use fears otherwise u are dead anyways cuz glad vs sm is just the way it is...

Thats a fact but the problem is that people on our servers run a full set block/mr. I was using MA sets on my sorc before, u know what ? It's fucking useless, Why do i want to have MA if i got no damage for sins for example ? I base myself alot on 1v1 situations, obviously in open world pvp there's alot of other factors but like i told u people can get alot of block with governor sets... And why do u wanna be able to kill the low geared only ? I always calculate stuff based on the best gear and on GAMEZ accuracy is not eh best in my opinion

I'm sorry if i did so but somebody kinda pissed me off there with a post cuz saying it's shit when it's one of the funniest builds to play on glad imo.

PS:My stigma build with Attack/Crit build in case u wanna try it http://aion.aspirine.su/stigma/#cCnaofhhBgbdateBianecaugBbaycBea(i can slso explain why the stigmas if u wish :))

He only has 1 set so he is better off using a build that works vs any class of any build. His build needs to works against anything and everything including "what ifs" because he doesn't have a spare set.

You saying that people on this server runs on block set and can get a lot of block because of governor sets just makes my point stronger, you need an accuracy set to deal with these people.

There is no best build because everything can be countered by another build but there are versatile builds.

    versatile ≠ best

Look, a templar with 2 sets, 1 block 1 MR, block looking like this, with the crit u said due to those IF's or reducing 100 crit since u can use crit scroll http://aion.aspirine.su/#!scTbKqy 3855 block
A full accuracy glad would look like this http://aion.aspirine.su/#!MNZoB (using arb+arb fusion) 4166 accuracy, but that's FULL accuracy, without any crit
Now with some crit it would look like this http://aion.aspirine.su/#!zOXeaXe but u are enchanting a set just to beat block users, sorry but that's not versatile, No glad with this build can beat a sorc i assure u, and obviously we are talking about people who can use skills properly not some1 who has no idea what hes doing.
But in the end this is just a IF world, that's what makes Aion the game it is. I think Block/Magic Resist/Evasion sets are gay in 1v1 scenarios, they are helpfull in zergs, etc but u are focusing a build only to be able to hit on those classes when u can just ignore them and go for the cloth leather. Simply 2 different playstyles :) I preffer to run full MB/MA on my sorc with MA/MB on weapon and that's enough to reach 2.8 MA. If they got higher MR 1v1ing me like some temps do with MR set + AA i just give up on them, not worth my respect/waste of time.

Since we're taking about Strike Resist and the amount of Critical Strike needed. My cleric in full arbiter and idians have around 530 strike resist, this is before the inclusion of scrolls and other buffs. Therefore having 1k crit isn't a bad idea. You might get diminishing returns if your crit exceeds 450 (after strike resist) but a proper build should be prepared for all kind of situations, like K mentioned. If you have accuracy, you can deal with Block users. If you have higher crit, you have greater crit chance against high end geared players etc.

nobody is argueing that your build isnt viable at all, its just that overall the crit/acc set beats pretty much everything. no matter what set you have, what class you fight. you tend to just weight out arbiter left to right, but what if he is a starting player? what if his running on a low end spear? by the time he encounter an opponent just by being short on either crit or acc you already in disadvantage. as K stated the most versatile build when speaking about glads is the crit/acc build.

personally i just use 10 attack stones. thats more than enough considering the amount of weaves you might want to put in when pvping
