How do you know he is doin his best? You know him in real life? Is he your neighbor? Do you have proof?

We all can see the crash and lag goin forever and we know somthing is not right.

We are assuming the best, because that is all we 'can' do. Issues will be fixed when issues will be fixed. And hey, look at server crashes as the Dev Team's nice reminder to GTFO, you've been playing too long xD

Progress is, people wanted ground PvP and they got it, a bug that came with it is, people can still fly outta flight zones into non flight areas and not have to land. It's a pain.. but GMs do force people to land.

Feel free to go to another server that populates 2k+ people online daily.

OH WAIT this is the only private server that offers that....

Carl has a lot on his plate right now, recruiting new GMs trying to find a good Dev that can help with bugs and such, be patient or find another server.

BTW even 50-100 man server have their memory leaks, its just worse here cuz this server has to struggle with 2,000 people online, just sit back and think about it.

 

i dont know why but i never lag all i see is sometimes server crash or bugged but never lag

 

Indeed, those who r bashing against the server bcuz they expect it to b even better than retail, by all means, find a server that fits better in ur expectations.

yes, and again, ur "privilege" is those credits u get for donating. NOTHING MORE.

 

I've never really understood the point in donating to the private server. If i had the money to donate, i would use it for retail.

After reading the posts in here i think you all need to relax and give Carl support instead of breathing down his neck. If it wasn't for Carl you couldn't play here at all! (i'm not forgetting the dev teamnor the GM team but they're "property" of Carl lol)

Yes you donated and yes you'd "expect" better server quality, BUT you actually CAN'T expect a better server quality. Trust me when I say everyone on Team Carl is doing his and her best to get things to work out on the server. but as someone else said, if you implement a new thing, there's bound to be a bug somewhere! example: the non fly zones, people still can fly and ofcourse it upsets you, it upsets me too! i got killed a few times by those flying monstrosities.
All we need to do is give Carl support. No shouting and argueing about server lag this and server crash that.
He doesn't need that. Actual studies prove that a positive reaction towards a bad situation help the men and women in charge to try harder and to get it all solved.

so I suggest we all chill out and give Carl the support he needs. Maybe you know someone who's good at programming? or knows stuff about private servers? talk to them, explain the situation and see if he/she has an answer. post that on the forums instead of the negative comments you're all making.

that's just my two cents..

 

whats all this crap about, if no donators = no server? gimmi a break. Carl didnt get donations before he put the server up, TO put the server up. and i sure as hell know that not everyone donated to start with.

If your pissed that you donated and all your getting is crap updates with crashes and everything, maybe next time you might want to wait awhile and see if the server was worth the donations. ooh yeah, it wasnt for the upkeep of the server you donated for though was it? it was the items from the credit shop (TRUTH)

No one donates for the good of the server, they donate for the good and progression of them selves, so no you have no room to complain any more than someone who doesnt donate. you got what you paid for (Armor / Weapons / credits).

As for carl working hard? copying someones Repositories and compiling it to add to the server is not what id call hard work.

If No fly is bugged, get rid of it until it is fixed. also remove /3 chat as ever time that seems to work we get some kind of strange skill delay, (not lag as you can still talk) and then the server crashes.

We have also gone back to the stupid "invalid target" and "You are too far away" crap even though your in range and have a viable target. i lost over 80kap due to "invalid target" on a asmo that was 15m distance from me with full heath, tapping the god damn skill quick bar key and it just gave me "invalid target" until i was dead.


We need.

New Dev and urgently
New GM's with more powers
New Reset person who has the ability to restart the server when it all goes pear shaped

When someone PM's you about asmos shooting through walls in termnon, instead of showing up and tell the elyos that you will jail those shooting through the walls defending them selves. how about telling the asmos that were doing it in the first place forcing people to shoot back?

You came on to elyos told elyos about it, and then left, asmos continued to shoot through the walls even when you were there, and long after you had gone.

Would just like to add, No fly in hairon has also put no fly in theobomo? rather annoying as no Asmos attack there.
