Why is it that no one this game like to help people that is new to the game?

I play this game everyday and have not gotten any closer to getting any better gear. i ask for help but once people see you are new they wont even talk to you then i read about the mentor thing well that don't work.......All i'm saying is there should be like some type off starting guide for the new one who is not only new to gamezaion but new to aion i try to go to the traning pvp thing and i can't even stand up for 3seconds everytime.....i try to go out run around looking for what to do asking people for help but no one on this sever like to help...........so there for it would be very useful to have a starting guide

Dont listen to Grrr[he`s too pro]. if your playing on Asmo side on the server Lumiel i can help you since there is nothing to do on that server.

 

About upgrading your gear, I suggest you to do the instance infinity shards (IS) when it is available trough a portal in Pandemonium/Sanctum, the easiest way to gear up now.
Will be easier if you play on siel since we're more, just check the lfg section (shift+V) for alliance recruiting member for IS (not everyday and time may change just check it).
Even new player with starter gear can join this instance, just need to know what to do.
It will allow you to get :
1. Hyperion gears/accessories/weapon (pve gears with few pvp bonus when set complete) - 1 box each boss
2. Blood marks : you can get skirmisher gear/weapon (pvp gear) and accessories to start.
3. AP (200k) + Ceramium medals : when you'll get enough of ap and medals you'll be able to get custo/amba sets/weapons and accessories (2nd best pvp gear)
And few more...

 

Well, the way most people ask for help is by "Please sir kinah" or "kinah please sir" or "please kinah" while spamming trade invites. At least that was what it was like the last time I logged in. That method of asking doesn't exactly appeal to most people's generosity.

 

Now is more like Please BM, need 200 plssss.... force trade force trade...

 

There's also the ones that spam duel requests and constantly go "pls try" or "try pls"

NO! I DONT HAVE TIME FOR YOUR <(^.^<) (>^.^)> DUELS! *sets all duel requests to automatic deny*

 

There are people who answer to your questions, maybe you haven't been lucky enough to run into one until now. The fact that people beg for items is pretty annoying and of course most old players ignore them, but I see people answering to newbies' questions every once in a while. I do it myself every time I see someone needing help.

 

Maybe you didnt bump on the right person to ask your questions to . But there are guides like this one http://forum.gameznetwork.com/threads/the-super-guide-getting-geared-4-0.160642/ and a lot other more made by players/AMs. you should go ahead and check them out and incase you dont understand something ask.

So you see, is not like we don't want to help, but we rather see people burn because years of bad habits.

 

hahaha exactly right, lots of people asking me for BM yesterday over and over again. But there was a player who were just standing there beside me then ask for a staff so I gave her for free, then I gave her a full set, got pity. then we chat on Skype, dang she is a cutie, but not sexy catgirl.

 

Not true, I don't think i've ever turned away anyone asking for help, ever.

 

And some people like to see the whole world burn just because they're kind of assholes.

 

SRSLY...if u need help!! get a job ...donate ...and u are happy wth...many ppls asking for freee items even after 2 years on gamez...just retards. now is so simple to get your gear without any help! and ppls still want more and more! just dont help any1 around u guys! to get gear is all about free time or money! if u dont have any..then dont even start to play!

 

They made it REALLY EASY already to get gears u can get gears in 1 hour or less. U are just lazy to search ways to get better gears especially now they give medal in IS

I'm not asking for anyone to give me anything i want to be pointed in the right way is all but when i do ask i just ask like hey can you tell me where i can start to get better pvp gear then most ignore or wanna duel me so i just go out and try to find it out on my own.......but thanks to the ones who said something useful to me and other take a long walk off a short pier.
