New player here :-)

Hi community !

Just a new guy joining into the gamez aion community and server!
I'm just a 23 year old player wich enjoys mmo's and has played alot of them through the years.
My favorite part of mmo's have always been PvP but the grind is always ofcourse as we all know a part of getting to there.
It's been awhile now since i haven't played aion probably a couple of years actually since it just came out and was pay to play.
I actually have tried gamezaion when private servers were popping out of the ground and skills were still totally broken but now everything works and even is up to date with patch so i am looking foward to playing this.
I hope the download won't take too long since the speed is high but 7 packages to go. When did this game get that big?
I will most likely be joining the asmodian forces unless ofcourse the population is way unbalanced im happy to join the other side.
Also looking forward to find a noob-friendly guild wich can help me in my adventures to get as quick as possible to end game to pvp side by side !

I do have a question about installing the game.

Do i need to install the entire game with NCsoft intaller first and then run the gamezaion? Or am i missing something here.

 

Yes first install the entire game with the NCSoft Launcher, afterwards install the gamezaion launcher in your Aion folder. At last use our item.pak http://forum.gameznetwork.com/threads/official-aion-4-7-0-6-item-pak.185075/ & you're good to go !

 

Nice. bedankt voor het reageren. Had geen idee of ik het moest laten downloaden of niet. Gewoon afwachten dan i guess .

 

Inderdaad :3 dat is het beste. Je kan al spelen voor alle 7 stages gedownload zijn, maar ik raad u aan om dat niet te doen en alles volledig te laten downloaden zodat je minder problemen hebt nadien !

Lols! I believe not, but i don't think they gonna give you any infraction since you are new here, hopefully.

So i think i am doing something wrong since my characters armors won't show or anything.

-installed game via NCsoft launcher provided on the gamezaion website.
-Ran gamezaion launcher and closed it after it was done.
-extracted the 3 loose XML files to aion/data/USA/items, downloaded from these forums.
If anyone could help me would be sweet

 

Delete your texture and data folder. Repair the client.

Then reapply the items.pak and run the GamezAion launcher as admin after reinstalling it.

 

I will follow your advice but this seems quite a hassle since i just installed the game and extracted the 3 loose files.
Also ran gamezaion as admin after that.
