Siel or Lumiel

Hello!
I wanna start playing again and cant decide wich server to pick, for me it wld be best Lumiel because im from EU, but from community perspective id want to be in Siel because as far as i remember back in the days Siel got far more community base than Lumiel.
How is the latency Europeans playing in Siel server, anyone ?

Although I've got around over 200 ms here, no matter how low ping you can get on Lumiel if you can not use the advantage of it against anyone. c:

 

In my opinion the ping is not the main "problem" which should been questioned here. Even you have a good ping on Lumiel, you can't do anything with it when there is no players to play with. That's different on Siel as the population is much higher than on Lumiel.

I logged in yesterday to check how many people are around and that's the result:

As Kessie already mentioned, the ping on Siel is 150-200ms, depending on where you are from. I think it's pretty fine to play with such a ping, it could be worse. x3

 

And thats the avereage ? around 100elyos and 60 on asmos ? in 2011 i think on siel were much more players online daily

 

It really depends on the timezone, as for me, I used to play in the evenings (GMT +1) and I do agree the amount of players sadly dropped a lot within the last two months for some reasons. We'll see if it will get better~

 

But is it worht it to download ? Sadly i have no choice cuz there is no any other pvp servers that popular like this one

 

It's really up to you, download it, if you want, and see yourself. I think that's the best way to get your own opinion of the server itself.

 

Siel is the best option if you want to PvP, do IS runs etc. In Luminel there's no players so you can't do anything at all.

Get a better comp and play siel

 

Right now there are approximately 70 players on each side but of course depending on the time of the week and specially during the morning/early afternoon it can reach over 110-120 per side.

 

You know what doesnt depend on ur comp but on network ? If im in EU and playing on NA it wld be latancy anyways, it wont matter what comp i have got

 

well when I had a good network and shitty comp it was just bad...

 

Can't agree on this. There's no way you can handle zerg if you have a shitty computer which will only result on you getting delays, screen freeze or even fps drops

Ok, but this all thread wasnt about comp specs, i know that very well, that with shitty cimp u cant play eather way, this thread was more about network and server x)

dont play hahahah...btw for me u choose siel population now shrink coz of the update too many bugs, hope they'll fix it soon.
