Hello Everyone, i was wondering, cause i'm making a Songweaver...

There is a limit (CAP) for Magic Boost?
I mean, magic classes using governor gear can reach until 3700 ~4000 Magic Boost, but is needed?
The higher my magic boost the chances of increasing the damage will be greater too?
Or have 3300 Magic Boost would be enough?

I really appreciate if you can give me some tips, thanks!

The magic boost cap is 3000 and anything over 3000 will counter magic suppression.
So just for an example you have 3300 magic boost and your opponent has 1300 magic suppression. You will be hitting them with 2000 magic boost which is still 1000 away from the cap for this particular opponent.

I play songweaver myself and I can say the more magic boost the better. However, I do not recommend using MA as a second stat and here is why. On Siel there are rufly with few exceptions 3 main classes that will resist you with having 0 ma in your build and those are Sin, Templar, and clerics. Sins will resist you when they have Slayer form (+300 MR) and Sensory Boost (+500 MR), Templars will resist you only if they are using Aether Armor which adds +800 MR and finally MR clerics (goes for chanters also but i really haven't seen one in a long time). I find it 100% more beneficial to simply have a switchout weapon with MA in it and for your main build go either MB/MR or MB/HP it will greatly add to your survivability. As for wanting more godstone procs It will also only help to a certain degree and here is why. MA does not directly influence godstone proc it only negates Magic resist which is the real culprit. So once you reach the same MA as your opponents MR there is 0 reason to keep adding MA from there it is only RNG of the godstone itself.

nope i run at about 4100 magic boost and its just fine 3000 mb you wouldnt kill a god damn thing lol. You would just go Dual stones is all MB/mr and no ma stones since SW has a base ma of 2k already :/

    wat :/

Sadly magic resist no have cap, (evasion have 30% max chance)

Magic resistance (checked against enemy's Magical Accuracy):
10 points higher Magic resistance than your enemy's magical accuracy = +1% chance to resist magical attacks/debuffs.
    Max chance to resist: 100%
If you have 1500 Magic resistance and your enemy has 1200 magic accuracy, you have a 30% chance to resist his magical attacks/debuffs.
If you have 1200 Magic resistance and your enemy has 1500 magic accuracy, you have a 0% chance to resist his magical attacks/debuffs.
If you have 2500 Magic resistance and your enemy has 1500 magic accuracy, you have a 100% chance to resist his magical attacks/debuffs.
