Solved Will i be able to play retail server after installing Gamez Aion?

Since the .exe archive wants to install stuff on my original Aion foulder i am wondering if it will affect my connection with retail server.

To be safe, you can create a copy of the aion folder, rename it and use the copy as the GamezAion folder and leave the original copy as the NCSoft version. ​

 

Aion is too heavy, i can't copy it will blow my HD ):
not making an Aion backup, thats for sure

 

Then buy a better HD. IDK why you are playing Aion if your harddrive is that terrible. To load Aion efficiently, you need a decent hard drive, and any decent harddrive can copy the entire aion folder in less than 15 minutes. If it takes longer, then you should get a better harddrive as it may end up causing you problems in the future. I think you can get a good harddrive for like 70$ on newegg.​

 

my HD is good, but i just don't want to have 2 aion folders, i mean it is like 50+ GB >.>

However, plumes on retail will not function at all, and your MAP and some UI features will be broken as well. Honestly, you're better off making a copy of the game.

you will be able to play in retail server if you dont put another patch in it..just install the gamez aion launcher,and item.pak if u need it and enjoy.
If u want to play in retail ur NCSoft launcher will make a little update(max 5min)and u can play..if u wanna play after retail again in gamez than the GamezAion Launcher will ask for an update,do it and u can play on gamez!!this work for moment and for this server and client verisons~

Best thing to be able to play NA Aion and Gamez Aion is to make two separate folders. So you need to make a copy of your original Aion folder, which is and will stay your retail folder. When you use the copy for Gamez, feel free to delete the Patch folder as it's not needed and you will get some space on your C: driver (or D: driver, depends on where you install the game). But yeah this is the best solution for now as many other people told you~ =3
