Welcome to Pandora's Box so to speak.

The Goddess has persuaded me, her humble retainer, to issue this decree on her behalf. Starting now, the following fields will be considered Killzones: Heiron and Beluslan. She wishes to see your blood, your anguish and your tears. They will be fitting for the Black Death as he reaps your souls, devouring everything that you at one time held dear to yourself. Abandon what you know, abandon what you are comfortable with. Your only concern is to slaughter each other indiscriminately.

A world where no one is a friend. Everyone is an enemy. Can you slay enough of your brothers or sisters to gain favor with the Goddess? Will you be able to sate the appetite of an entity that has invested its entire being to death and mayhem? It seems only time can tell. So, let the games begin.

For the next four (4) weeks. Heiron and Beluslan will be considered Killzones.

These maps will be the places where you can earn points toward both personal, and faction rewards.
Every time you kill someone on one of these maps you will have to screenshot it. Though remember you will only get credit for one kill of a player a day. That means that you cannot kill the same person over and over to gain points, we will be checking to see if players are abusing some mechanics. If it is found they are, we will change rulings slightly.

Points will be tallied up each week after the submission deadline has been met and the winners, and winning faction will be announced the following day or so depending on how long it takes to count everything up.

Each Single Kill is worth 1 point.
There will be special mobs spawned and those will be worth 200 points if killed by the opposing faction. These will be spawned somewhere on the maps that are the target zones.

Your kills, will also count to the Faction Rewards, the special mob kill will only count to the faction points.

Faction Rewards are something your entire faction earns and will be posted as they are earned. These will be things spawned into your factions main city and exist until the other faction earns more faction points than yours. It is possible that you could gain more or even lose everything as a faction.

You can only represent ONE faction per week, be it Asmodian or Elyos.

To claim a kill
You must use /time so that we know what day you killed that person, screenshots with out a time stamp will be discarded.
You must have the map open to prove where you are.
Your combat log MUST be visible.

To claim a mob kill. Again /time must be used or it will be discarded

-Important: While this is open to all of your characters on an account; your points are per character. They do not add up together for the single rewards. Only legit pvp kills will be counted as well.

A little confused. How many personal kills can you get daily? Is it 1 kill daily or 1 kill weekly? or unlimited?

Some people are saying there is a limit on the kills you can get daily so Im a lil confused

 

Every participants gets a devil egg? Don't quite get the tier 1 to 4 points thingy. Why tier one is 4000 and tier 4 is 25,000?

 

Lemme see if I can simplify this for the people that don't understand.

Basically, this event is all about killing multiple characters, hence "Unique Kills". This means that instead of killing @Bordy 5 times and getting 5 points, you need to kill Bordy, @Stark , @Sam , @Dementa , and @Rosel to get 5 points. You cannot get multiple points for killing the same character. And, you only get points towards your account when you take a screenshot of killing that said person, with /time on the screenshot to document the kill. Also, there are mobs which give 200 Faction points, and you must also Screenshot that with /time to document it. Kill points go towards both Personal, and Faction rewards (I think, this post will be edited as soon as I get more credible information). Personal rewards will be given to the Players who are participating, just like any normal Event. However, Faction rewards will be given to the winning Faction, and how every many points you get total (both kills and mobs killed throughout the entire faction) will earn you a Box with rewards in it, that I assume anyone on that faction can open and receive rewards (again, not sure.)

I am a little unsure of this, and again, it will be edited as soon as more credible information is gained. Basically, as far as I have been able to understand (drat you @Puddles and your differing timezone!), points added to your personal score will only be obtained from the character that you submit the most kills with. I think. Also, you cannot AP trade for this obviously, and no hacking. Obviously. So like I said, I'm not sure about this, but anyways, I bet all of you will use the character you are best with, so it shouldn't matter anyways.

Regarding points obtained from Player Kills: You can only get 1 point per Character killed per day. Meaning, If I kill @Dementa at 5pm, and I kill him again at 11pm, I will still only get 1 point from him. I am unsure of whether we will be using a 24h Cooldown period to determine when Unique Kills are rendered valid again, or if we will be using a Daily Reset (Much like many of the instances ingame). More information will be added when it is obtained.

This is the format needed to submit your entries. You will submit your entries at the end of each week, and the winner of that week (as well as Faction and Participants) will receive their rewards. You must turn in your entries in AN EMAIL to hgm.gamezaion@gmail.com. You must use the format shown above: the Subject is Gamez Killzone, and the Body of the email (the content), must have your Account Name, Name of the Character you wish to receive the prizes on (or the name of the character you used to get the kills, I don't know.), your Server, and the Faction you are representing (Elyos, Asmo). You can only support 1 faction per week, meaning that if I support the Asmodians, I will only get points for killing Elyos Characters, and the Elysean mobs. Puddles used the words "killed by the opposing Factions" for her explanation of the Special Mobs, so I do believe these will be needed to hunt down in Heiron/Beluslan, or protected. Again, this will be edited should I be severely wrong. You also must take all of your Screenshots and attach it to the email in a .rar file. I suggest you create a folder named "YourScreenshots" and use this folder to collect all your screenshots detailing the time and kill. At the end of the week, select all the screenshots you wish to submit, and right click, selecting "Add to YourScreenshots.rar". If you do not have a program capable of doing this, you can download one here.

I believe because tier 4 is higher grade than tier 1. Basically tier 4 will give "better" rewards then what tier 1, 2 or 3 does. Thus that is why tier 4 requires more points.

 

The basic idea of the event looks good but to be honest it seems to be a lot of work for prizes of that level. I do understand that this is probably an attempt to bring some open world pvp on those maps more than an event but can't you guys do something about the prizes to make it easier for the event to encourage players to actually participate?

This is probably just me but to be honest, I'd probably prefer a nice bundle of consumables than the current prizes. At least I get to have the consumables I'm going to use in zerging or getting zerged for this event back because it's likely to turn into that.

 

What about the first place and second place then? OMG so confusing.

 

There is no first or second place for the faction part of the event. It depends on how much points each race gains in total.

for example If asmo gain 8000 points in total then they will be all rewarded with tier 2 (box). If elyos gain 25,000 points or over then elyos will be rewarded with tier 4 box.

There is no limit. it's all about who has the most kills.

 

so the one who have most kills in a week or in 4 weeks will be the winner?

 

Yes and the person with the 2nd most kills will get 2nd prize etc.

Yeah same, the event only was announced not long ago so just give it some time

for the time being it's best to locate your self that's what I did anyway it usually works tho expect a zerg of 20+ players

Hopefully AM's will announce the event in game to notify the players

Will this work out for Lumiel? Given that the population there is quite small and you can only gain a few kills before you get locked out.

doubt it. That would be to much work and I don't think non-participants should get a prize. Not really fair if you get a prize when you didn't help.
