It depends mostly on the hour you connect, as stabbalot said, theres hours on the server where you find 104+ online and another moments where you find less than 50, anyway, theres plenty pvp & pve. I still dont get why people say "Gamez is dying, RIP Gamez", and stuff like that. If you consider the game is dead why dont you just leave? Why do you have to keep saying that kind of stuff?

hmm well i know what u are saying but the fact is.. does who been in aion for long am talking about beta or does who played the official knows that the zerg that happens in gamez its not normal theres many reason why they like zerging easy way to use hacks...they stupid part about it is that when u look at the combat log u see the skills and when u think about it theres skills that u cant cast as fast as they do because of the cast time bt yet they do it in a combo so fast u dont see it .. and not event with woc2 u cant cast as fast becasue woc does not effect cast time..only animation cancelling.. so staying in katalam doing ping pong zerg its not as fun as many see it .....everything is like that because everything in gamez now days is easy everything is with a portal if they let them walk to the door of the insatnces people would be everywhere pvping not just katalam.

 

I would say that all they would need to do is create portals to all popular instances.
Make a better selection of mix fight with maps that had great pvp such as heiron beluslan gelk and inggi.

Mix fight should be closed for no longer then 10-15 mins and same with FFA!

Staff should do more events as often as 4 times a day everyday to keep players active and should allow players to pick the prizes from the prize list.

 

yeah thats a good idea but it be better if they would let them walk to the entrances for example IS so that way there be pvp in the way... in aion logic 9 out of 10 pvp is becasue u farming something or u going some where ...

 

where are all theses hackers u guys keep talkin about? XD really I see like 1 or 2 in a weeks time and they dont really do shit either....And guess what YOU HAVE TO RECORD THEM FOR THEM TO GET DEALT WIITH....oh my.

 

The end game of mmorpg's is boring, you try a new game, you level, you get the best gear, you go pvp and there's only so much killing you can do before you get sick of it and you stop playing.
I don't know what AM's do nowadays nor how the game is ran at the moment, but when I was part of staff, we had to do events daily to keep people entertained. I always tried to find different ways to put a smile of peoples face even if I had to morph into an ugly monster and troll people, or use test skills but I was always there, online, wasting my time.
To have a successful private server is very hard since you don't have a strong development team which Gamez has always struggled with.
You guys ask for things to be fixed like it's so damn easy and if you think it is, why don't you apply for a spot in Dev team?


Stop being so fucking disrespectful towards the staff, owner and c.e.o , I'm sure they can see that their game may be falling apart and let me tell you, it's not a good feeling.

Gamez will not come to an end, I'm still having fun pvp'ing around, for those players who keep on saying Gamez will come to an end because of there complains about those cheaters/hackers feel free to report them, that's not the reason of its ending, and it really depend's on what time we play or maybe some player's are just busy on there real life but they keep on going back.

 

Wall of text warning: This is a long wall of text not to disrespect ANYONE but merely state the truth.

That's a good point, but most of the AM's hardly come on in GAME but are only very active on forums - And they reject people who are online practically everyday both in GAME AND FORUM. They claim they have "lives" but if you had a life and were so busy, why volunteer if you can't give your full potential? So it is safe to judge honestly. The development team can be very difficult to handle which is very understandable. But let's face it - we don't hear a WORD from Carl or Lautaro or Alente, they don't even post on their own forums..Seriously? How about give us updates for what they are doing instead of doing everything without notice to prevent frustration? Just pure mute...?? They are secret mysteries. And we only hear announcements from them RARELY. They also hide themselves with the privacy feature so we can't see just how "active" they are, their privacy is only visible to staff members.

They are bringing it upon themselves though. We've seen many threads like these and still nothing is being stepped up and everything is done catty and sloppy. And the bad habits keep continuing - promise but no action. And believe me I know things take time especially with an underdeveloped Dev staff, but it shouldn't take months for these kind of things. I'm not saying I could do better at all as a Dev because I can't and I'm sure most can't either, I'm saying I'm on a lot in game and could benefit this server.

But If their server is falling apart how about fix the broker first, which is one of the MAIN problems. Instead of waiting for updates to come etc. It just causes more people to leave because it gives off the impression that the admins are money hungry.
I see where you're coming from though.What also needs to be implemented is more security against hackers (I know this server is not a company and all, but hackers are quite troublesome.)The question is why create a private server if you can't manage it properly? The same goes for us costumers - why do we play a server that can't be properly managed? Because it's easier to play and more enjoyable.
Last question - if Gamez was always struggling with Dev staff, why pick people who can't do their jobs properly OR hire new smart ones? And why be VERY inactive on your own FORUM that YOU CREATED? Why should staff only know certain things but not the COMMUNITY? And I'm not trying to start anything but really @XikO is a VERY inactive SAM. Why is he even here? And why don't you guys bring Ari back but at least make him a SAM or even admin. He was only being disrespectful because of Kyle, and Kyle's banned/quit so why not fix things?

the NPC for sheperd weapons in asmo side is bugged for allmost half year and it's still not fixed,i wonder if the governor npc will be bugged and will sell items for anyone whats happen?

The only AM who actually host events almost daily is finaldestiny xd sorry other AM's but you should host more events! and when I mean events, I mean KOR/Tornaments not hide and seek and unscramble the word ( those are the lazy events if you ask me).

Yeah the population is decreasing and pretty fast. There are only 40 players on asmo now... which is pretty odd considering not even a month ago there was 104+ players usually on at all times. I wonder what caused the huge decrease in the population in such a short period of time? People moving on with there lifes? bugs not fixed after months? Ari's unfortunate demotion? who knows?

I like how the staff are saying the server won't die and everything is under control which is nice thing to say but then again that's sort of your jobs to "guarantee" the community that everything is going to be okay. But a good server should have an increased population not a decreased. Don't you agree?

Do I think the server is going to die? No. but it will most likely end up like lumiel eventually. The only reason lumiel went first is because it had less players to begin with.

The only way to get some decent PVP is to go in FFA which always has players.

It use to be possible to locate your self in heiron or belusan a few months ago now its impossible... Only like 5-10 players come and they leave after 1 round so you hardly get any action. I'm guessing the decrease in the population is the cause

 

I no longer care about the server, I quit this biased server for a few months already. I don't have intentions to come back and play. The server sucks after Ari got demoted. Bye °-°

if they updated GamezAion 4.8 The Invasion new features(skills/items/instances) and the broker wil be fix. broker is broken because of mounting features in NA Aion 4.8 but if they updated it all bug will be FIXED! :3

I personally think the GM's do a nice job in distracting people and maybe putting smiles on their faces while they do even now. And that's something to be praised. That will sadly not fix the problem, though.
Now, where could we even apply for a spot in dev team? You can apply for mod, you can apply for GM, but there was never even a word about recruitment for devs.
If the CEO's were interested, where were the dev-recruitment incentives? Where was the rollback after a few days of knowing that server couldn't be released as prematurely as it was? Where was any action visible to the community? If they felt that bad looking at the server becoming how it is, then why do they continue just looking on? I'm not trying to be disrespectful, I'm merely stating what I think is the truth. In the end, I'm not saying this because I want to bash or because it's fun - I'm saying this because I see there's a problem and because I give a shit about the community and server.

My suggestions have changed as follows:

1. Recognize there's a freaking problem first.
   
2. Find a dev team. If you can't do this, close the servers for good and be done with it.
   
3. Close the current server down for "maintenance" while setting up a fully functional, rolled back server for others to play on in the meantime. Thus, GM's can do their job while the dev team works and the community's discontent about this whole situation can be controlled. (Not to mention that, if anything, they might be happy that something's finally happening)
   
4. Grab some beta-testers for quality testing to MAKE SURE that screw-ups like these won't happen again.
5. Bring back server maintenances. Every week, the servers should be shut down for a few hours to evaluate logfiles and implement bugfixes.
   
6. Think about giving this server something unique that will lure new players and also keep them hooked. (Distance yourself from the "everything needs to be in cash-shop"-idea and make stuff with the lowest sales available for kinah)
7. @Carl @Alente @Lautaro : be more active and show that the community matters to you too, and not only to your staff members.
   Have you ever seen a business where the CEO's hide from public view? En contraire, many times it's the CEO's that are "pleased" or "displeased" to announce something as representatives of their company. That players and customers are leaving is, as CEO's of this server, first and foremost your fault and responsibility. You should already have noticed a decline in the donations you are getting. Have you never reflected on why they are declining or have you just given up?
