This server is going down... It's a ship that is sinking slowly and if Carl cares he will save it !! We got players who are willing to help but it all depends from owner's decission ...

And no, Iunno wtf you are talking about, but these are kinda helpful suggestions. We can all be like you and let the server rot, but the community does not want that...

Yanis all you have done is hate on ryang, you seem to think that this thread is going to make people rise up and start, i dunno what, burning torches and waving pitchforks about.

Its not about making anyone feel down. tbh honest there have been some good points raised in this thread. both about how threads are moderated and also about the current situation of the server.

Id like to know who is a dev (im not talking about people who work or play on another server, not interested in that) but Devs who play here and why they wont step up and give a hand, i know if i was a dev, i would, even given that i know carls stance on things. im no quitter, and the feeling id get from the community for helping them have a good gaming experience would be worth its weight in gold.

 

Ryang doesn't need to make this server look bad , it's doing that by itself .I really like the idea of doing something to make carl realize that he needs to do something but that whole stop donations thing is redicilous .We all know that's never gonna happen since 80% have an opinion similair to "Z0mg I'm so gonna donate full AGB set for mai sorc ,1hit K.O. byby hihi" . It will never happen that you get enough people to let him even notice that something's going on so I won't even consider that as an option .Truth be told he really needs devs but since everyone is mindlessly supporting him he doesn't need to change anything .I can imagine that some people around here think that it's cool to be a GM and do everything to keep their position and try pretending that everything isn't that bad but you gotta be a little bit realistic . It's crap right now .And believe it or not there are enough people that realized it and it might be that some people just start to criticize cuz they loved the server as it was at it's best .

 

and here is where my suggestion comes into play. Devs do not like working for carl because it is hard to get stuff down without access. they also dislike being treated like dirt. SO my request is that you change that around. and by giving others access, you may et the memory leak fixed faster, and you can have the server reboot faster when it goes dwn.

There in lies the problem, its never going to happen, restricted access is all that is really needed, now depending on how this server is set up (more than likely on a Mysql database) then restrictive access can be granted. that in its self is a big step in the right direction.

 

I seriously don't think he knows.

 

he's known for about a month and a half. He knew before crashes started to become increasingly frequent, and he knew before chlora left. but knowing about it and working on it are different things

All the GMs get is criticism, HELP GM PLEASE, EFF YOU GM, GM SUCK, well we don't have the powers to give back missing items and etc... We can only do events, dye and ban. Hopefully people understand that by now and that only Admins are the only ones that can do what we can't do.

But it is now time to implant something new, something where people can freely talk whatever they want and not feel like their thread will be closed by the staff...
I'm making a list of ideas that can actually turn this gaming community to something else instead...
So people can feel free to talk more about anything.
(I feel like this community is way too cramped with only problems to be discussed which is way too compact).
So let's stop talking/insulting/bragging/criticizing and start doing something to improve this place.

Yes that is something he personally needs to work on, but life isn't all about Gamez.
Everyone has something they need to do, a goal, something to strive for. If begging for help is a goal, I suggest that we will do our best, but is not anywhere near our goals. We are only here because we love the community. We don't want to see random threads that is all about hate. =.=

you may be getting the wrong vibe form this thread...none of it is aimed at you. and someties, the best criticism is the most harsh that has not been polished to soften the blow ^^
