Getting a bit tired of trying to follow up via PM what's going on regarding valid in-game reports so I decided to make this thread. I've been patient the whole time but it seems no one is going to take an action unless you put out something that smells and looks bad. I've been doing it for the past weeks and like, if I don't keep spamming PM around, results don't come out at all. As you see, both report threads are closed for a reason but without any reply from any staff member on what has been the decision on it so either people wait infinitely or it gets buried and forgotten.

If for whatever reason and you can't watch a Youtube video because of internet connection problems but can still browse the forums, why not just pass the case to someone else and let them decide? They passed the AMT point so they have to be someone who can tell if a video is a valid hack report or not otherwise it would make no sense to let them pass the trainee point. The process takes so damn long because of refusing to pass the case to someone else who can look up to it that by the time the decision is out, gears and everything could have been moved and the ban would have serve no purpose but to force player to make a new character on a new account with his transferred gears. What happens then is you have a banned empty account which you can hardly call a punishment for a heavy offense such as hacking.

Players always gets told that if they see or think someone is hacking, go take a video, upload it and make a report about it but then reports gets treated like this. Not only you are made to wait for a very long time for something that can be done in less than 10 minutes, the time and effort you put into something that you were asked to do is totally neglected disrespected.

Yes I know it may seem frustrating but I too have made that assumption and I was wrong. The GMs don't really forget on purpose, they actually do more than what we can actually see as the general population. @Ayaria is on right now, so I am hoping she can get to those unintentional delayed reports soon. Sorry for the delay but I will try to forward this as soon as possible.

    Happy Gaming! <3

I don't think what you said has anything to do with this thread. Watching the videos and issuing a ban on the player won't take you more than half an hour. The report is 5 days old and still no action has been taken. Even if someone is to take an action now and if it happens that the verdict is guilty and they issue a ban on the player, it probably would have been too late as the player had 5 days to move his gear. Banning an empty account is hardly a punishment as I already said so it makes everything pointless.

Well, you're right on the accounts of the gear, I agree with you fully.

Well don't worry, even if he has a new account he can still get punished for his previous actions (since that player is known for no animation, it'd most likely proceed on his new account, just no one will know him). It doesn't matter if he uses a different account, IP or computer. He can still be tracked if it is necessary. So that way it won't be as pointless. I've faced him before on my ely sw before in 1v1 event and he is EXTREMELY fast. So if you need more witnesses I am happy to accommodate if no punishment is issued on this player's new account.

Hope this helps. Happy gaming ;3

The whole gear moving issue.. So true. When it comes to reporting "popular" players, I would say do it privately. Send someone a PM or give it to someone on skype. Even give it to a friend that can talk to a staff member on skype. When I was reporting.. a certain someone that is now unbanned again, I was doing it privately, trying to get him banned for weeks before Ari actually banned him, and told staff to NOT tell him I was trying to do that (because I knew some were friends with him) so that he couldn't move his gear and be surprised, which is what happened in the end.

I would say it generally takes longer for staff to ban someone "popular" because they want to be sure before they do it. I'm putting myself in their shoes, nobody would want to embarrass themselves if they ban someone and the next day his whole legion comes and complains and calls them names (remember how much shit Camila had to put up with when she banned Kinsekalibre? Yup, that thing).

Tl;dr, nobody wants to be the one to do the dirty work. That of course does not excuse anybody for the long delays, but it is still a possible reason behind them.

If they break the rules ban them its quite simple and that's all you need to determine and think about. Simply speaking you are a complete fool if you think you can get away with animation hacking forever on this server. Especially on a glad I mean come on its like the easiest to see....I don't mind doing the dirty work and arguing with morons :3

He did have 0.8 attack speed and you didn't properly show his animations in any part of your video. To me the first video is too close to legit to warrant a ban.

    Callense jajajaja

On Topic: About gear moving, if they are really about ban some player for hacking or something, for GMs it's easy to find out their IP and their details to find their new account and do mac ban if it's the case, well I don't really know how GM CP works here, but on the old server I was a GM it was like that, easy to find out their IP just in case someone gets reported and to take action on it takes too long, we could find out their new chars, anyways it's true that you say, they keep closing threads without saying anything and it's seems like they don't give a banana about it, I agree with you.

You cant ban someone because their attack speed seems fast. You can ban them because their animations cut.

In a way, Player has been banned until proven innocent/legit. Regarding these reports themselves, it is currently under investigation by me and Puddles <:
