Solved Getting started...

Hello ive just started playing today i made a gunner...i joined the game i put on the starter gear now what??im kinda lost to what to do next...where can i farm or pvp..?can someone help me?what should i do?

Hi there! Welcome to Gamezaion. You can PvP In Katalam, where there's plenty of PvP and is crowded with both races. There's also FFA (Free for all), 1v1 event portals, survivor event portals, Training 1v1 and Mixfight portals. Siel server is the most populated server compared to Luminel (EU server host), but I can assure you our SAM (Senior Aion Master) lisveth is taking care of this server very much so and we thank her for that. Where there is PvP, you can do Farm Alliance Infinity shard (12 people). You can do IS 2 times a day per character. In addition, these IS instances give 200k AP (Abyss points), 5 credits, 20 CM medals and 200 BM (Blood mark). You also get Hyperion boxes (excavation and equipment) as well as TS (Tempering solution used to enchant accessories) and a possible chance of an Empyrean plume box. With these blood marks, you can purchase Discordant accessories/fierce skirmish gear. Not the best, but it's definitely better than the squishy starter gear. If you want better gear like augmented (extra bonus stats) Shepherd sets/weapons or Custodian sets/weapon, you will need about 5 mill AP. If you have credits and you're rich, feel free to donate to Gamez and purchase items from the webshop. These items will be mailed via express mail (make sure you log on to your toon you purchased the item on.) Right now the best "pay to win" gear you can get is Elite arbiter/Elite Principle (3500 credits per piece). The second best is Arbiter/Principle. But that's ONLY if you can donate. Since you're new and getting things going, I would suggest doing the IS instance with your friends. Don't forget to vote for Gamezaion (go to Gamezaion.com, Vote rewards) You can get 10 credits per link, so 50 credits a day, or 100 if you can vote twice in 1 day (depending on your schedule of course) With credits you can get also VIP (1500 credits or Premium (Premium is permanent benefits, VIP is to trade untradable items)

Bonus: There's also PvP from GM hosted related events such as 1v1 Mix KOR (Korean) events where 2 teams of both races are combined and whoever has the most players left wins. There's also 1v1 GM hosted tournaments, 2v2 tournaments, FFA (Royal Rumble, 2v2 FFA), Hide and Seek, and "Zerg the player" that we had in Levinshor.

Make sure you download the latest item pak here: http://forum.gameznetwork.com/threads/official-aion-4-7-0-6-item-pak.185075/ - this is to make sure you can equip gear, store certain items in account warehouse (you can't store weapon fuses) and is absolutely necessary for proper gaming function.

where should i focus first? instances for gear?

 

I suggest you join Infinity Shard (IS) runs for now so you get ceramium medals + abyss points (AP).

 

I did that at first when I joined Gamez. Yes you should focus on doing Infinity Shard instance first. To master your class you need to at least have decent gear to do decent damage as there are quite a number of people on here with the best gear (Elite arb/principle). But let's not jump to conclusions, your best bet is to do that. After you get all the bloodmarks (A whole entire set is 1.4k at least BM) then you can move on to saving your AP for custodian/shepherd gear and weapons or ambassador gear. When you get weapons you can also fuse them for more stats (which cost about 1.7 mill to 2.5ish mill kinah) to fuse. The vendors are in Katalam.
