    This guy is very right, old days were always the best or just remove or open it only on sundays those FFA or MIX Fight or replace with arena or glory or a glory hole :)

    No ping pong will happen if the spawning areas get elevated but in Levinson and Calder both have elevated starting point means when u jump there is no way u can go back so u will be forced to fight or run, the new maps are not like Katalam or Danaria nor gelk and iggnison but I prefer Caldor

    It will be ping pong because both faction will choose only one safe zone like they did in Katalam, the safe zone on Katalam is already elevated, of course i know they cannot back to the safe zone once they jumped but, they will not walk thru the map to find pvp, that's why i suggest the portals, to distribute the pvp to all the map.

    You obviously didn't understand what I was saying, so let me spell it out for you.
    Gamez. Has. No. Devs.
    If there was anything closely resembling a dev, we wouldn't have the following:
    • server running until it crashes (as opposed to actual maintenance shutdowns)
    • bugs galore
    • not fully implemented new zones
    • non-working instances
    • broken player stores and broker
      ...amongst other things.
    The server's problems are there because of the absence of anyone who remotely cares about managing/working on the server files properly.
    It's slowly and steadily going to hell already.

    I don't wanna ruin the fun but seeing some posts here made me wanna point something out..

    1) Just because things are broken, it doesn't mean NOTHING ELSE should be implemented just because "they have other things to fix first". Some of the things that are broken may be still broken because they're hard to fix, because they're being ignored, or for whatever other reason. It doesn't mean that everybody should stop suggesting things until the server is fully fixed. That never happens. There's always going to be something broken, this isn't NCSoft we're talking about let's be real. Just because "there are more important things to focus on", it doesn't mean that player suggestions should be ignored because they're "not important".

    2) Yes, there are no people having a "dev title", but that doesn't mean nobody is doing dev work. Things are running much much slower than they would if there were actual devoted devs, but there are still people who pretty much do what a dev is supposed to be doing. Devs disappeared long time ago because (I'm guessing) somebody thought that it's pointless to have them since somebody else can do their job in between all the other things they're responsible for. Worked out or not, it is how it is. Therefore, let anybody suggest anything they want without telling them "that will never happen cause there are no devs".

    2. Broker etc has been broken for almost a year and some other bugs even much longer (sema boss for example) should we wait another year or so to "fix" them before adding new ideas?
    3. Idk if gamez has devs or not but I'm sure some of the staff have some experience to implent ideas

    As Dimi said there will always be bugs no matter what, usually every time they fix a bug around here on gamez it will create new bugs. Remember this ain't official and doesn't have a dedicated dev team like NCsoft nor half the experience. So it wouldn't matter if we did have devs there would still be bugs. Sometimes you gotta move on from trying to fix difficult bugs and focus on new projects/ideas rather then waste time on a bug that will probably never be fixed.

    But someone on the entire team of AMs and Would-be-Is-Kinda-A-Dev knows how to add an NPC right? I just saw the Augmenting Officer get added in Sanctum recently next to the Conditioning Officer.

    Afaik SAMs and higher are able to spawn NPCs :p That's if the NPCs exist, and yeah I guess in your examples that would work since the NPCs are already there so they would just need to find the NPC's ID and spawn it in the capitals. Now if you wanted a custom NPC to do custom work, that's when dev work is needed, I suppose.

    Cant they spawn the NPC temporarily in the portals area of sanctum/panda while working on getting a legit custom teleporter approved?

    I mean the NPCs you see in the capitals aren't custom either.. I think. That's why some NPCs show that they will port you from one side of Danaria to the other and so on. You aren't in Danaria. It's just that these NPCs are coded to send you from one place of Danaria to the other. I guess it works if you are in the capitals too, as long as the right NPCs are spawned. I don't think it needs any custom work or modifying anything on how they work.

    Now if it does need custom work (let's say the teleport only works when you are in Danaria and want to be sent to another place in Danaria, and if an SAM randomly spawns these NPCs in Sanctum/Pandae they will give an error or not work at all) then obviously someone knows how to do said custom work cause the extra ones that already exist in Sanctum/Pandae do their job. Either way, custom work or not, it can be done and there's proof that it can be done, without needing "devs" lol. It just needs approval. I don't know why you're getting hate for suggesting this D;

    Still no, it will be good lel put some random boss that spawn at some spesific location to make them walk around and make a group for a boss hunt. but i dont mean the boss like sheba or Stormwing tiamar tahabata or raksha i mean the latest boss so that people will force them selves to hunt the new remo`s or so on.

    Well, you can argue as much as you want, i know elyos are lazy, they have lazy to walk thru Katalam to find pvp, that's why they use their own fortress as safe zone, and we had to go to knock on the door front to see if they want to zerg us with their "pvp" ping pong, and that's what going to happen on Levinshor!
    And why you are talking about bosses? this is not even the point of this thread, the point is spawn a statue teleporter in the capitol cities to make it easy the way to access Levinshor!

    is not that...just new maps are way to large for gamez population. even zerg vs zerg is only about 20 vs 20....if u split them on the whole map....u will find 1 at every 30 mins:D and if u are lucky u will find 10 togeter:D

    I Still prefer find 1 every 30 minutes than find 10x1 because i'm almost all the time solo :D
    But you're right, the population is not enough to split them thru the map, if we need to concentrate the pvp in a single area, let's stay on Katalam, it's perfect :D

    Ping pong pvp happen even on retail. The defenders will stay in the fort area til the attackers come to the gate.

    Eventually when the wall breaks, both sides rush each other until one wins. The one that loses ends up spawnin on their side in the beginning, then they run back to the fight. Eventually the side who won the pervious fight will Get out numbered and matched to the point that they will have to run back to their side to regroup with the other players and the winning side will try to chase them and kill them before they reach their checkpoint. Eventually the runners will get enough players to turn around and fight back and then it happens all over again. This is what happens when two factions are able to spawn in the same area.

    in the Abyss, you Kisk up away from Forts, and when you fail. Everyone in the alliance groups up and fly together to attack a Fort. When they fail, they all spawn at the kisk location and try again People would rather die in Abyss than fly back to kisk since the distance is so far away.

    its been a month since i visited this game forum..
    * yea the GAMEZ is getting boring, some players are leaving too many bugs and ects.
    * there are too many things to fix 1st before adding some portals or any additional idea in this game just to revive the old PVP excitement of the players..
    1. fix the unbalance of two race ( ASMO and ELYOs)
    # only the ELYOS race can buy custo. weapons using their A.P
    2. bring back the broker in both side
    # so the players can enjoy farming to sell ( not in private store but in every broker ) and trading,,
    3. the pvp are getting boring for some reason of:
    # the pvp is not the same like the old time just because of the new updates in adding of the portals of 1v1, MIXFIGHT and FFA and putting safe zone in the new maps
    i never question those updates but maybe if we systematize those portals maybe it work better
    like some say that, maybe the AM should put those portals once a week mybe twise or mybe putting CD in every entry of the player per day
    and just buy removing the safe zone and the player should teleport in every camp in new maps or deff. location like the old time in beluslan/herion or gelk just like Louy suggested.
    4. please add or hire AM's that is active in game
    like having AM's 24/7 in game, unlike of having AM's or GM's once or no staff for 24hr
    this is for preventing of those bug abusers and cheaters in game,,,
    .....
    i was hoping that this game will be the same like the old time soon although its not easy but there is always a way to revive this game and i know they were working on it

    The problem about can't buy shepherd weapons on asmo side, they gave us another option for now until the bug get fixed, check the link below please ^^
