Bringing back the Old PvP Days

Hey guys How did you like the PvP war in Gelk that @Astii and I started? Where would you like to go next? Heiron? Beluslan? Inggison/Silentra Canyon? Theobomos?

We've done tia eye wars but Gelkmaros was by far the most fun/funny and complex. LOL both sides were camping each other and everyone had an amazing time and it was AWESOME. Never had that much PvP in a while. So yeah, post what location you'd like to PvP in? Or just feedback of the Glek war is fine too.

Yeah if only admin can do special rifts to pande/sanctum that would be awesome ey?!, its like an instance attaking the main base of the enemy

 

You did extremely well on your first day. Respect has risen and you've successfully acquired the rank of Idol.
The only improvement you need is controlling your alliance. under no circumstance you allow your Elyos to spawn camp, especially when the leader himself/herself enjoys it and is infront of the alliance encouraging the elyos to spawn kill even more. When this happens and i assure you, it will eliminate the pvp. Completely. Your goal is the opposite. Plus obelisk camping is bannable and we don't want that either. When i was at the asmo side Fendi was making sure the asmos would limit the spawn camps as much as possible, telling them not to take down the kisks etc. I know you did attempt to prevent the elyos from camping, i was there and i saw, but i also saw you stationed 10 feet off the obelisk. This confuses some of the elyos, (random elyos that dont know you that well) "wait sydney said not to camp 5 min ago but shes camping right now?" it makes them camp and then not listen to you the next time due to their thirst for killing, tea bagging and spam laughs... You know what i mean. You've done a great job leading and making pvp today, just be more responsible in terms of fairness.

I apologize - yeah I didn't realize my alliance was camping until Sageking said something ;c. But it was overall fun o; I told them go to back but they didn't listen to me when I realized it D:..Will do next time . I'll also make sure no one's kisk(s) get destroyed so it won't be a hassle o; I'll also be more careful next time ;3

 

GMs have done that before.

Once you pass that wall on the left of gelk where the asmo base is its considered spawn camping, once youre half way apart of the wall and apart of the asmo obelisk is considered bannable.
asmos cant spawn camp if you guys use the statues in sanctum which takes you directly to gelkmaros, UNLESS asmos use silentra portal to go there and thats officially bannable as well.

EDIT: i fucked up, forgot to mention, its still considered camping if asmos are stationed near the hill where elyos port from sanc to gelk. Example, if you spawn, and you cant flank then its considered spawn killing.

 

Ty I guess I got distracted and I will try to control my alliance next time so the upcoming pvp battles will even more fun. I need this feedback, it'll help me with my leadership skills and alliance control. Where would you and your legion like to go next?

 

The best roaming areas are Heiron and tiamaranta ( not tiama eye ) and abyss (abyss is never gonna happen until miracle happens)
The best clashes aka ping pong are gelk, inigg, and katalam
I feel the players arent ready for heiron and belusion because both sides are too afraid to trend far from safezones as well as sticking together like one huge cluster. Best when the players from both sides have either separated groups roaming the pvp area which would be heiron or belusion. Fun times.
So for now i would go for iniggson this time since we did gelk. I think the best way is to keep on shuffling the pvp zones rather than sticking to one.

 

Yes shuffling the pvp zones is my goal as well. I believe I can get the elyos to do Heiron (they've done it before) But as for Besluslan, I don't think so as yet. Inggison/Silentra Canyon sounds VERY fun next. I don't like Katalam pvp cause it's SO mainstream like eh it's just back and forth and not really GVG. What is your IGN and legion btw? And you're asmo right ;D?

In the old pvp days , I would go to all those places at one time and see asmos and elyos fighting. If you can bring that back, I'll worship you as my God.

 

Haha I'm lucky if I can even get all elyos to go to 1 specific location to fight (especially Glekmaros that was really hard but I did it - 24 people alliance!), and having all elyos and asmo scattered all over Atreia would seem kinda sloppy. But eventually when I hopefully get everyone suited to these maps, that might happen. My concern is how some maps might be too large and uncomfortable for elyos - especially since some maps have obstacles and lots of terrain which may interfere with PvP. So I have to figure that out also. Heiron and Glekmaros don't seem like a problem, but I'll try Inggison/Silentra Canyon next and then switch up the maps from time to time so players won't get bored ;D.

 

I think we should stick to Gelk for now. I agree, that was a whole lot of fun! It sucks though, it takes so much effort for you to get people to come pvp somewhere else. You should know, we really appreciate it. Anywhere is good, as long as it's not in Katalam.

I think the fact that we need everyone else in this. Both faction can easily get to the areas. is just matter of other players wanting actual good pvp vs to asmo attacking katalam fortress and elyos hiding in fortress. I do miss the old pvp and it was fun even if is not the old old old pvp gelk presented a good interactive fights today. I truely enjoyed it I do encourage more players to do it as well gelk present variety of terrain that gives player advantage and move-ability from wind streams to caves to bridges it does give the interaction with more flavor. I hope this is appealing to many audience and hope everyone is incline to try it out.

 

Agreed, even tho I was not at gelk for a while it sure was fun while it lasted,

And yes @Astii the constant locating is a pain that is why I'm hoping they spawn a boss at gelk for both factions to kill for tokens that way it will encourage players to come there and we won't need to locate

 

OMG yes it is a pain, I'm surprised PvP at glek happened, but I'm glad we did it. Onto Ing/Silentra Canyon now ;D
